(Get) Cheapest Host I've Found

Wow, I thought I had the cheapest hosting ($1 per c-class IP - cclassiphosting.com) But they started to provide horrible service, deleted 2 my websites, so I moved to another hosting.

JustHost are only $10 a year using the Template Monster deal, and are likely to be far more reliable than most of those mentioned in this thread...
 
is StableHost good for a big movie site, with 1,000+ posts? I do not upload any movies btw, just link to putlocker, etc.
 
That's a very nice compilation of cheap hosting companies. Thanks! We should gather them up in a list with pros and cons.

http://www.arvixewebhost.com/go/arvixe/ is also good, i am using it for my 3 sites. 0 down time.
 
hostwinds and hostgator are best, but pricewise stablehost is comparable.
 
I second the advice to AVOID webhostingpad. They are very cheap but they pile WAY too many sites on to one server to compensate for their low prices. Expect regular downtime and slow loading times.
 
I love this thread - I've got about 20 more sites to add to my private network and want to avoid seohosting, so need to spread them out. This is exactly what I need. Lots of shitty little ultra cheap hosts. I haven't checked any of them out but me thinks you'd be crazy to host anything important with any of them - but perfect for private network

Just to let you all know, I just bought shared hosting with Stablehost, So far they are doing alright, nice fast server, good price (coupon OCT2011 gives 40% off, NEWSITE or NEWDESIGN gives 50% I believe)

They put a backup for me, which went well. So far the customer service took an hour to reply, and gave short replys, but in a way this could be good, spending more time doing things than writing.

Have a look at their T&S they are kinda sucky if your doing anything blackhat, you need to ask them if they accept certain SEO plugins for wordpress (as it uses a huge amount of the server in comparison to other things.)

ALLINONESEO and PlatinumSEO are alright though.

I moved because JustHost has lots of backdoors in it, I got hacked by a hacker, and he told me what the vulnerability was (rather kinda of him, didn't delete anything either).

All in all, they are pretty good.
