Thanks for your feedback, I actually did not test it on the latest WP version :D
 
Is this only for titles? Or does it also check if the content is too similar?
 
This is for titles, as scraping using wp-o-matic will duplicate articles, they will bear the same title.
So it deletes the entire article, but the search is performed on post title
 
thanks a lot, I'm actually having a problem with false positive dupe posts, so I may need this if I can figure that out!
 
It would be smart of the plugin developers to simply make this a part of their autoblogging plugins ;)
 
Does any one have a version of this that works with wordpress 2.8.6?? It does nothing. I even make a post, and it does nothing. I use WP-O-Matic and duplicates are being generated all the time.

yeh I need this for 2.9.2 > wordpress - are you gonna keep upgrading the plugin - thanks you fro your effirt so far : )
 
What's up with all the other people that say that duplicate content is not an issue, i'm getting very confused whether too make my content unique or keep it the way wprobot published it. Would Adsense ban you if your content is duplicated?
 
Will this work with FeedWordPress? I was using this with FeedWordPress Duplicate Post Filter but for some reasons the later started to work a while ago so my blogs were filled with duplicate posts for a while. Could't find a solution to that yet so i have stopped the plugins and my blogs are on hold so there goes my income too :(.

@Sjors: if you got too many duplicate posts on your blog, that will be an issue (red flag or filter due to internal duplicate content)

@Arivat: should work with FWP too ;)
 
hi Melvyn, will this work with the latest versions of WP? on the repository page it says compatible up to 2.9 something. thx
