Get an IP adress from a email

A customer made a reverse action on PAYPAL but i know he got the goods delivered.

I just want to prove he is the same person did the order how can i get his IP from his computer. Can i in some way PING his email and get an IP back?

If you have an email from the customer you can check the IP of the computer used to send by looking at the email headers. Was this a physical item or something delivered electronically?
 
I have the order IP from my website. I have asked paypal for his normal IP but i doubt that i will get it. It was goods not a electronic order.

I checked the arin.net and wrote to them as well the IP address from the website is from his area. So now i need a confirm that his PayPal email will give away the same IP then his busted so to speak.
 
Since it was physical goods I'm not sure how matching IP adresses will help. Did you use a mailing service like Fed Ex or UPS that utilizes tracking numbers? If so you can pull that report online and email that to paypal for your defense in the dispute.
 
It is a flower delivery. I know he was the one that order the flowers. If i can prove that his personal email has the same IP as the order form on the website i will file a fraud charge. He will never come to this country again and visit his girlfriend. When he land in the airport i will have him detained :) i am sure he will pay thinking of that. Yes i have tracking code i deliver the goods myself.
 
Well I'd deliver all the info you have to paypal including that tidbit, and let them work on the dispute. They're not likely to hand over someone else's info to you, however they normally do their due diligence when researching these matters if you've had an account with them in long good standing.
 
Well i think some where i read that they will co op in a Police invest so all i have to do is to get some IP from his email. Thats what i wanted to do, just get an answer from him. Maybe just send him a email from some one and hope he answers. If he answer i know it is him but i was looking for a better way.

Honestly that is impossible . Unless you live somewhere other than the US . I am not sure about other countries laws . But in the US if the product was under xxxx.xx it is a small claims that is handled through small claims court . I honestly believe most countries operate in the same manner .

But if you do live in a country where it is a law stating that a personal dispute over a service is a criminal offense I do not believe that is a country I would want to live in .

BTW it is a personal dispute over funds rendered for service. In the US it happens all the time .

Uhhhh but good luck with that . *freak*

On a second note call paypal and talk to a live person and explain everything to a live person . Give them your tracking ID and everything .

But you are still way off base about having people detained like you are God ... Just does not happen that way .

sorry valwardon you are wrong. IF HE disuted the claim that should be one thing but he did not. He reversed the payment saying someone hacked to his paypal. You see the fraud now?
 
Still it is small claims this happens ALL THE TIME . Trust me yes it may be fraud but unless he took you for thousands good luck filing legal charges . It is a small claims case .

But believe whatever you want to . Sure have the feds bust down his door in signapor just to make you happy . Follows about the same logic . You are not special . the government will not waste there time chasing someone on a small claims case . They might give him a summons when he comes here to the US that is it .

He will nver serve ANY jail time over this . He WILL NOT go to jail . They WILL NOT detain him .

On this I AM NOT wrong .

Sure it will make the happy see him sit in Thai prison for a day or two. He will also be banned from Thailand, we have a very serious cyber crime law in Thailand the worst in the world. I agree getting him in US of A or any other western country but in Thailand you can get them by giving the police a small cookie :)

Still CALLLLLLLLL Paypal . Talk to someone there . This has helped me like a million other times . It will not hurt you either .

*cough cough* Wise guy I am trying to help you know . Do you use Gmail? What mailing service do you use . Should be able to get ip off the email headers . Outlook I think you can do this fairly easy . Have Outlook grab all the emails than look in headers should have the IP on his orignal email . Order Email .

The problem is i have no email from him i have a order page. So thats why i want an email to confirm the IP with the order form. If i can get the IP from PayPal i am done :)

Let me play with him a little or you can do it yourself .

Make an email stating that there was some sort of mix -up blah blah blah . i think I over charged you 20.00 etc.etc.etc.

Say something that scammers love to respond to . When he responds boom you have his IP from his email addie .

Ohhh create a yahoo acount for this .
 
I sent him a bate lets see if he reply thanks for the help. I had 2 of this things happen to me before and i always got my money back. One time paypal paid me back and another one i got the money back from the customer.
