web 2.0s are (still) safe to point directly to money site. They're not as powerful as they used to be, though, so people use them as tier 2 instead

This is an outdated list. Some sites don't work and some others are just parasites. It'd be better if someone shares a list of sites that still work and don't remove our blog after a few days.

Key take-away: Always be prepared to use NEW ones that aren't ridiculously over-saturated, yet still carry juice... The ones that haven't been devalued yet.. and you don't have to use ALL of them at once - less is more ...... JUST Two or three of these built VERY well and with a lot of attention to detail will move the needle a F*ckload more than doing all of the ones I listed half assed 50 times per money site with t2-6 auto link blasts
*****(please don't f*ck these ones up like that and ruin them like y'all did Weebly, wix, wordpress, blogspot, tumblr and every other web 2.0 you spammed to death, that sh*t doesn't work any more, you'd just be creating problems for the rest of us while gaining nothing yourself)

If I make a bunch of 2.0 sites that are basically built to have a backlink to my website, will that benefit my website authority and ranking even if these 2.0 sites are not visited or have just 1 or 2 posts each year? basically just 1 image and a backlink.

They won't help, and definitely not with just an image + link. At least add some text around the backlink

But my competitors are wasting their time with that =(, I have a couple of team members that have nothing else to do and we already product a lot of content and content backlinks so I was thinking that this might help at the side.
