Generate Leads Offline.

One very important reason that you want to check with your AM prior to running a campaign like this is to make sure they won't freak out about the geographically-clustered leads and traffic that will be generated. To some of them it will look suspicious.

I've called all of my AMs prior to doing this so I know which networks understand that I'm advertising legitimately, albeit to local markets. Honestly, some of them can't figure out why in the world I would want to market offline.

did you have any success marketiing offline?

yeah, the giant midget post your results if you want ! This thread is gonna inspire me!

If I was you I would design a new domain for every newspaper and see which newspaper gives out the most visits etc...

Then you can invest more in that newspaper and less in the others and you will even earn more but spend less.

yeah, top idea about tracking the offline sources, you could just create a subdomain (you can do this for free on a reseller/addon hosting account) for each newspaper and track that way:

newspaper1.specialoffers.com
newspaper2.specialoffers.com

I talked with my AM the other day and they told me that offline marketing is only disliked when they all use the same computer/IP to do whatever offer it is. I don't know if this applies to all networks, but it's a major one so I think you can pretty much at least safely ask your own AM.

yea my ams have said its ok just aslong as i direct the traffic to my own domain then redirect to the offer.

Which network was that?
Because it will be different IPs since the visitor will type in the address from the ad on their own computers.

Anyone doing good? I was about to place an ad, but ran into a snag. I should be getting something up soon.

results people......

i have my domain setup to redirect to an offer....

gonna go out tomm and post flyers on lightposts in poor suburbs..lol

I just advertised on Thursday. I had a regular classified ad and it cost me about $17. So far I have 5 clicks and 0 conversions. We will wait and see what the weekend brings.

Please update this thread and also what was your offer about?

It was payday loans. I really thought my ad would do better :/. I guess i would need to buy a 1/4 page ad or at least a 2x2" ad so it could stand out a bit more. If you advertise in decent sized cities, you'll find there is a lot of competition. I must say that I do believe the OP of the thread. I think once you spend the $ to get a picture based ad, it will stand out more and thus receive a lot of clicks and leads/sales. Right now i just don't have the capital to invest into that.

I tried 3 newspapers about 50k circulation each. I've had several bots and lots of clicks from company IPs but only a few apparently legitimate clicks. 0 conversions. bought the ads for thursday 2/5. I'll wait and see like magcshroom over the weekend.

The USA papers most likely are filled with loan offers from legit loan companys. Would make more sense to use the country with the falling economy, but it doesn't. Your competing with people who have had their ads in these papers for years.

P.S. to all the people asking for proof, and how shit went, or what they used for an AD

are you retarded? seriously, if you spent a lot of time trying to figure out what works are you just gonna go ahead and post it where 1,000's of people are going to read it and copy you? no, i didn't think so

how did it go? i dunno, why don't you stop reading and asking stupid questions and go try something yourself, that way you know for sure it works or not.

AND picking up the paper and taking note of which ads have been there the longest is a good way to find out if it works before you try it

If I find a good payday affiliate and place an ad in the newspaper will I still be able to get a lot of people to register if I just tell them my email address. Then when they email me I send them an automatic response saying click on the pay day website link. Would that work just as good as a website?
