Something unnatural is happening on the forum with VEVE bot requests.

I'd caution you guys from doing projects for these accounts.
Looks a lot like a scam to me.

I see you guys applying for projects in these threads and it's highly suspect.

@BassTrackerBoats - I made this thread for people who are already contacting
these people before the accounts are reported for suspicious activity. I can't prove anything
yet but it's very odd.

Yep, they're coming in waves too.
Could be buyer fraud waiting to happen OR a stupid way of trying to promote a platform.
Either way, this behavior is highly unnatural.

We think it is some redditers who are trying to game that system as we did have one of the senior Mods look into it.

i can tell you rn we arent here to promote. im legit looking for a veve bot and stumbled across this website. look into what veve is… people are losing the opportunity to get their favorite collectables because of bots. so at this point lots of people are turning to using them. there is also huge financial incentive. if you can score a drop, they typically 2-10x in price immediately after selling out. hundreds of thousands of ppl tryna get these nfts that sell out in milliseconds. if u cant beat the bots join them. im not here to promote. i really want a bot for veve and will pay a pretty penny for it. im considering using a muscle gun to try to press the buy now button faster. the veve people arent here to promote lol. its a bunch of desperate collectors/nft flippers

As cellulite stated, Veve is an NFT trading app that is becoming popular. They do these daily "drops" of limited edition NFT collectibles that get sold out within a second mainly due to high number of users and private bots. People are trying to get their hands on these collectibles but stand no chance so they're looking for a custom-made bot to help them beat the others. It's not really spam or related to promotion at all - there's just high demand right now.

That's why you get paid upfront. You get paid and render the service requested. No need to get scammed.
