Geez!! i m stuck on 10 position :(

Hi , I am having a site which is on CB product base, that product having good gravity, i am having Keyword rich .org domain, and my competitor also having keyword rich .com domain. I am having thrice backlinks than my competitor, and i am holding postion 9 in Google US, and he is on position 1, I don't know why he is on first position with single landing page.

i did Article marketing for back links, Web2.0, Social bookmarking, social networking, video marketing, High PR profile backlinks, SB commenting for backlinks. I double check my Title, Meta, Description keywords. even i checked my competitors backlinks too, they are not from high pr site or something.

Note: He is having sales page and i am having reviewing site with 5 articles.

I hope some of you help me out ;)

as u said you have 3xbacklinks in comparision to him.

Then i think its all about quality of the link.

check his links pr(page one),anchors and sites from they are coming+obl.
 
and for ranking better in google us ,links majority must be from us ip's

i had check his backlinks page pr, domain PR too, Some are from PR 3 and PR 2, But i am having PR 6 to PR 1..

Do u think high PR links works to compete him, actually i made 300 high PR backlinks, some are indexed and some are indexing..

Unfortunately OSE didn't pick up any backlinks because your site is less than a month old!
I sent you some onpage SEO tips anyway, these should help you get above him. Good luck

Is his domain MORE keyword exact?
i.e. your nice is cure headaches fast

Nope we have same keyword like the.keyworddomain.com, nd mine the.keyworddomain.org
 
you should be happy, 2 weeks old and ranking number 10, my tip is just focus on your link building and repair some of the SEO on page stuff for now, dont be jealous on the guy/gal in front, you have a goal and you will reach it if you do what is needed to be done and stay focus and not worry too much :)
 
I have the same problem with my site too but my domain is not exact match. The damn problem is the guy on position 3 domain is NOT exact match either while I'm on position 24. My backlinks is almost 3 times more than him. I also have many outbound links to authority sites such as youtube while he don't.

His domain name have only 1 word match with the keyword Just Like Mine. I really don't get it! My site backlinks are High PR profile links and articles like Ezine too.

On the other hand, my other page on the same site which I just create for fun and doesn't have Exact match keyword in the title as well as URL rank on position 6 for a similar competitive keyword OVERRANK many other url which have more backlinks than mine and better onpage SEO... Google is fuck up?

Btw, my site is not 2 weeks old, its more than 1 year!
 
i think ranking at number 10 with a two week old website is a pretty good effort as well.

i would suggest building some links to your links to increase the value of the sites that are linking to you, and also to ensure that G is finding your links.

sounds like yolu have been given some advice about onsite SEO already as this is probably the other area i would be looking at closely

Well i hav notice little changes in rank, now i hit position 8, grrr.. 150 clicks daily no sale, i need first position :P
