[Gambling Ads]- is Cloaking the only solution?

While cloaking isn’t the only solution, it’s a common tactic among advertisers. Facebook’s moderation system works on a number of factors, leading to discrepancies in account approvals.

If there is another solution, I'm not aware of it
Cloaking is the classical solution for this kind of black hat industry

I see a lot of Indonesian FB advertiser running their online gambling with their explicit title and banner without having any problems, while my ads are having a bad luck by keep getting rejected even without gambling keywords & banner in it. is cloaking the only way to by pass this restriction?

Any advice? thanks
Yeah, cloaking is the main method, but it’s risky. Some Indonesian advertisers have local agency accounts with higher trust levels, which might be why they last longer. You could try warming up accounts, using different GEOs, or testing whitelisted ad accounts. What’s your setup like?

Using pages that have been created for a long time and have old followers, it will be great to put up your ads

you can try ads service, they will help you set up campaign and run well

Cloaking directly violates FB advertising policies. Although it is also a solution, it has many disadvantages, can lead to account bans and loss of reputation. FB is now increasingly sophisticated in checking this issue.

i have own Indonesian gambling site, i never use any cloacking .. We just make campaign , and for conversion campaign i do directly to ms without use any landing page

Are you also targeting the Indonesian market, or is it another market? Try with a strong account with a spending history or another source of stronger accounts. I mean try everything first, otherwise use cloacking.

Many factors influence.
- Weak account
- Controlled IP
- Marked Landing Page
- Poor content
....

While some Indonesian advertisers employ burner accounts or geo-targeting flaws, cloaking carries the danger of permanent bans. Because of landing sites, competition reports, or account history, your ads can be denied. Use compatible language, warm up accounts with clean advertisements first, and obtain Meta's agreement before running gambling ads safely.
I agree, coming from the gambling industry where we targeted plenty regulated markets, if there is no local licence, it is best to outsource this to a company, they will be able to run google ads anywhere and ot can never be traced back to your business, the blame always lies on an "affiliate" acting outside agreed upon bounds.

Stake is using such a company, and they are amongst the smartest when it comes to marketing, affiliation and getting traction.

Many advertisers run as you said but have no problem while you are constantly rejected, this situation may be due to the implementation of FB policies in each country being different and inconsistent, this is unavoidable and you cannot control it, you should change your IP address to Indonesia and see.

Try geo-matching creatives and local slang, sometimes that slips through

im not expert on using cloaking but i think cloaking is only redirect the destination url, meanwhile i still cant pass the FB audit on the image that i use on my campaign. CMIIW

Cloaking works but good software can be expensive, costing over $XXX per month or requiring a large fee.

Long term, yes. Short term you can run without cloaker, just with good ad accounts, but eventually the ad account will get banned at some point and you cannot scale properly. Hope this helps!
