Just got suspended on twitter for no reason and I was wondering if anyone's used GAB for internet marketing purposes. I was thinking of opening a new account on gab.ai for my e-commerce brand. It's not political in any manner but with my accoount suspended and no reason was given, my brand has a large hole in its social presence. I know that there's media outrage over its freedom of speech policy, but in my opinion, it's no worse than Twitter. Thoughts?

I used gab and have few accounts with them. Honestly, as of now dont expect any traffic. I tried in multiple ways and methods to bring in some traffic but it was one of the not so converting or successful platform so if you are looking to have a page, you can create one and join some groups but you will have very little value IMO. You can give it a try and check for yourself.

GAB might be coming in a few months or years, but right now it's pretty dead. I'm holding on to a few dozen accounts, just in case.

probably wrong to compare with facebook, where people usually just have their closest friends and family AFAIK and chats with. twitter has similar figures as facebook
