G De-Indexing Multiple BH Sites Past Hr.

Apparently one of my biggest websites has been removed as well.

The only good thing is that 98% of the traffic to the site comes from 19,000+ keywords so being removed for 5-10 didn't do much.

However, there's definitely some stupid algorithm change going on because of this new instant feature.

This reminds me of the time a few years ago when I was making $600 per day off youtube for 2 weeks straight, then they changed their view system, and my income went to $0.

Why do they always do this when I'm making money? Damn...

My site dropped from 11 to 17 for my main keyword, and it happened about the time I stuck a banner in my sig.

You guys worried me enough that I took it out haha!

Traffic has increased, but not for that keyword.

and where the hell is the pagerank update?

Bobby, quick questions, did you keep the content on your site fresh as well as keep consistently adding the same or greater amount of links daily? I'm probably going out on a limb here, but I wonder if this algorithm has anything to do with the freshness factor from Google's patent 7,797,316 in the USPTO site.
 
oh man...something is definitely going on...i just checked on my sites in MS and a bunch of them are gone...also i lost tons of backlinks...then i did a check in scrapebox for indexed sites on my lists and a bunch of them have "--" next to them or "no" when just a few hours b4 the blast it said yes...i just started with seo but now i know what you guys are talking about with G ********ing with ur sites...i think it was the massive influx of spam after everyone seen the "sex" dude on the first page...(who is no longer there from here in NY)

I have lost some of my important keywords ranking in my sites, I thought I was link building too quick using SB, but since a lot of people have same experience I think google changes their algorithm again....:(
 
Results will vary for everyone now that Google Instant launched. In the search settings under Google Instant it says:

Signed-in users can remove personalized predictions from their Web History.

Google is personalizing search results based on web browsing history and it follows you even if you sign out! Unless you nuke your google cookies you wont see default results and most people don't delete their cookies... kills me that only "signed-in" people can opt out of personalized tracking.

I wish web browsers would let you create individual website profiles for browser settings. I would prefer to always view Google in "No JavaScript & No Cookies" mode... fixes a lot of SEO research problems.
 
i don't think it has to do with your cache, cookies, or whatnot. the sites just lost a lot of juice and went from 1st page to the 8th page or even off the charts. these sites were primarily built on blog comment backlinks.

I see today some major moves in my niches. Not only my websites but all the websites are dancing around. One pretty black hat website with millions of xrumer links used to be number one now it is gone. My websites are still on page one but are moving around and each time I search my keywords they are on a different place. I hope this is just temporal while google tests their new algo or whatever and eventually rankings will become stable again. If this keeps going I don't see how am I going to do proper seo. The worst part is that even completely whitehat websites are losing positions. In one of my niches the absolute authority, 10 years old website, which is now property of a big corporation and is completely whitehat is dancing like crazy from number one to nowhere.
 
Well, i can't complain since one of my sites (3 months old) just went from number 400 to page 1 and number 8 on Google for my main keyword after i purchased 2.5 k of backlinks a couple of weeks ago.
 
Some of my blackhat competitors are gone in my country and google instant has not been implemented here yet. Sites that have most of their links from comments are gone.
 
lol if google is deindexing 'sex'. i should go by
lesbian-fornication.com domain =)
 
One of my sites went from number 8 on page 1 to page 50. Not in the adult niche and mostly all white hate backlinking. Hopefully it will sort itself out and come back somewhere stable. And just as I was starting to see some decent traffic too :(
 
pretty sure my site got sandboxed too. All the rankings disapeared today.
 
One of my sites got hit yesterday also. Has lots of unique content as well as an auto blog with WPunique addon. Many Web 2.0 links with xrumer links pointing to money site and web 2 sites.

Hopefully it sorts it self out soon, was top 10 for all my main keywords, now there not even top 100.
 
Everyone that has had their sites drop from the SERPS, are your sites based in USA where instant is currently active? I have several sites here in australia that are still ranking fine on the front page but it is my site that is targeted towards USA that has been dropped. If its going to be like this everyone once instant is implemented around the world, it may be time to rethink SEO strategies...
