I just had the funnies idea ever, make a ebook to sell on dp with a title of "Make $1,000 overnight" and sell it for $14.99

In the ebook have the following...

Here are the steps to make you $1,000 overnight,
1. Make a ebook called "Make $1,000 overnight"
2. Copy these steps into it
2. Sell it for $14.99 on dp

Well that can't say they were lying, I told my friend about this and we almost died laughing...anyways just thought I'd share.

It's been done. Someone made a thread on DP with something like How to make $10 a day easy. Then payment cost $10 or so for the ebook. The ebook stated something like "Do what I did".

This is actually the "business plan" of many online and offline marketing schemes
I actually fell for one of these schemes in my younger years
There was an ad in the paper that said: STUFF ENVELOPES FOR CASH It basically said that we will provide all the materials and business plan and all you have to do is mail.
When I gave them the $20 for it, I got a manual that basically said is a very elaborate way, "Do what I did and con other people out of $20 each" by making copies of this manual and sending it to them.

Reminds me of a skit... maybe SNL... parodying those late night infomercials. Basically, the guy said. "Send me $50 for my book, 'How to get people to send you $50 for a book' ."

I was going to do this... Make a fucked up landing page that looks like it was made by a 3 year old, and sell the method for $8. The method says, make a shitty landing page with stupid pics on it, and charge people $8 for this method.

Or, you can send people to this site, for every hit, I will send you $1.

just don't pay em.

I remember some guy was selling a method to cut all your utility bills in half, when you paid your $14.99 he sent you a pair of scissors.
