Many tags help? really? I can tell you after making all tag pages noindex I increased rankings and traffic on a site by 300%. Tags are evil if you don't use them correctly - see my guide on WP optimization.
Here (found it through advanced search)I've searched but can't find it, any chance of a link to your WP optimization thread? Thanks.
(sorry for double post!)
Not the OP, but you can find fairly good free stock images from sites such as sxc.hu.Where do you get images from? Stock images are quite expensive.
As a matter of fact there's no way to know that on-page factors alone were what produced those rankings. How about server location, speed, LSI of other posts, internal linking structure, n-gram combinations and other factors.
Top 5 Content Writing Tips:
- The more H2 tags the better. 150 words under each H2 tag is the ideal range to achieve best rankings.
- Make the 6th to 9th word in each paragraph the keyword you want to rank for
- Bulleted points are amazing for rankings. Google gives extra value to keywords after bullets
- One image per 200 words is the PERFECT ratio. USE IMAGES (5-8 words for alt text)
- More words in article = keep a lower keyword density. Less words = keep a higher keyword density
What if my KWs are more than one word in length?

H2 tags, bullet points? Well, any formatting tags help (as opposed to keyword tags which I think someone was confusing earlier in the thread) in my experience, mainly because they make a page easier to read and help with viewer retention. I'm not sure Google's directly taking much notice of them any more.
@PartyNeon
I assumed your articles in the website don't have any grammatical errors, am I right?
he's not trying to rank them. he's trying to find out more info. we already know a video on the page would help or at lest not hurt. how do you guys not get that?The Idea is really cool. But why don'y you add videos also. Its a plus point.
What about article length? Is there a specific length that outranks the rest?
When you calculate the kw density - do you calculate only for the post or for the entire blog that includes tags, categories, related and latest posts in the sidebar.. I am thinking of removing the tag widget in the sidebar.
