There was another thread around the same time which outed a different keyword. ALL SITES GONE as well.

There should be a big sticky about not outing websites.

There is a rare occasion that somebody naively links to a site but most sites are outed here for the very reason that they want to destroy it.
 
I'm not convinced that the outing had anything to do with the guy's slash burn strategy in a questionable product category but you are right that we should be more careful regarding the Google spies in our midst. I'm not sure how you have can have open conversations but someone with deep pockets needs to start a class action suit against Google for damages that their arbitrary algorithm bullshit creates.

I for one would love to see someone leak some of their internal emails regarding their manual take down of sites and how they get chosen or in other words we need Google's version of Edward Snowden to come clean.

There are a few lawsuits against Google. For the most part Google is protected by section 230 of the CDA in the US. The successful suits that Google ended up paying fines, some large and some pocket change, came from Europe and Australia.

You can usually tell when it's an accident. There was such a case a while back. Someone naively posted, then deleted and apologized. But I would say MOST are clearly negative seo, old accounts, experienced folks.
 
Okay, forget the lawsuits but just one good person of conscious has to exist among the thousands of drones that work there! You know, one that remembers a time when Google would "do no evil" before the corporate parasite named Eric Schmidt took over the company. Maybe they are reading this now and will begin to realize they are also damaging legitimate, hard working individuals with their slash and burn strategy to move us all to AdWords?

Just imagine the level of surveillance and monitoring Google employees are subjected to.... They make them use google android phones with all the spy shit on, they gotta use gmail and everything they say online is monitored. Whoever comes out is gonna have to outsmart all that, or have their lives destroyed by lawsuits.

Yeah, there are MEN and then there are rats. I know for sure sooner than later we'll see some of the google truths spilled. But I also know they keep north-korea style control over their employees. If I worked for Google I'd be looking in my toilet for cameras ;)
 
Yes many newbies asking "how this website is ranking,revealing the url " should be instantly banned.
 
Sometime newbies can out sites by accident, they don't always comprehend the consequences BUT I have seen more and more people outing sites when it is clear what they are up to.

The conversations regarding strategies can be interesting but we need to do this in a way that doesn't out a site.

We need a sticky stating that when analysis of a sites ranking is being carried out the site can't be posted but can be provided to Mods or Exec Vips on request. It would be very easy for Google Employees to have Jr VIP accounts so people would need to be careful when sharing with JrVIPS that you don't know well.
 
"How does this guy do it.."-kind of threads shouldn't be allowed, at least not for link building..
