Welcome you all!
Here begins my adventure with IM, the last few days I spent browsing through this forum, looking for a solution that will help me get out of the routine. Probably I don't have as bad as some people here, because I live in Europe and I can earn my living by working. However, working as a construction worker is not the lightest job. Every day the same routine, 8 hours or more a day, heavy materials and tools. Looking at what some people here are able to achieve, I am full of enthusiasm. There is no time to lose, time to get to work.

I would like to start by setting myself a target of $500 a month to begin with, and every next level will be 2x more. I don't know if it's possible for someone without knowledge, and if it's not, I'll prove it is. After a little research, I want to start by creating websites. Reviews, tips and so on, launch an affiliate program (probably amazon) and advertisements. I will definitely need help from others, and I will have to study here myself. Now I have free time to New Year which I want to spend on working. The only thing I'm sure I can do is to be determined in whatever I start to doing, it should be enough to start with.

Nearest TO-DO list:
  • Buy domain and hosting for life tips site.
  • Set a website
  • Write article

Good Luck with your journey, I am looking to quit mu 9-6 as well in 2020

Your first blog! I remember when I registered my first blog, then moving it to wordpress and seeing the twentytwelve theme in all its glory under my own domain was priceless. :) Good luck!

Before building links to it I suggest to first focus on the on-page SEO (making sure your content is well optimized for Google).

Wishing you all the best! As mentioned before. A good kw research is half the way.
I was happy using Yoast with my first page.

Okay, so the plan for today is done. I didn't know what these Keywords were yet this morning, but I went through google and found some information. To find my keywords I came across a lot of paid sites, I finally found a free app.neilpatel.com/en/ubersuggest and found a KW with 140 volume and 1 search result as my main title.

Here's what I did today:
  • Bought hosting and 2 domains
  • Installed 2 wordpresses, changed the motifs and the overall visual order. One page under tips and the other is reviews of various products, under amazon.
  • Such as my friend Krise advised me, I installed the Yoast SEO plugin.
  • Found articles about the product in my native language and tried to translate it.
  • Wrote a post on the page under Amazon. 413 words with 4 links, but I don't have an affiliate account yet.

Just some suggestions and maybe they are helpful
  1. First, read this thread https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...-amazon-affiliate-from-1000-m-to-10k.1166081/
  2. Get an Astra theme and WP Rocket (both are paid but can speed up your site)
  3. Add Wordfense to make sure your site is protected and add an SSL for ranking.
  4. For article and LSI keywords use https://lsigraph.com/
  5. Try @Finn on page and off page guide https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/best-on-page-and-off-page-seo-techniques-in-2019.1124583/
  6. Lastly, with the domain, you can always go with a new one or one that has some age. It depends on your budget but again makes sure the seller is trusted.
Lastly, sorry for the long post but make all pages (contact us, privacy, GDPR, About Us, and Amazon disclosure )with a widget up on the front page stating that it is a paid link) as it can help with you not facing any FTC issues and it looks legit to people reading your blog. Hope this helped!

1. I've read half, great inspiration and confirmation that the consequence is to win goals.
2. For now I don't intend to invest more, if the site develops and starts to make a profit, I will certainly think about it.
3. I added Wordfence and SSL, I had to pay a little bit, but this is rather a necessary basis from what I read.
4.I was trying to use it, but here is just 3 KW checks per day
5. This article has cleared many of my concerns.
6. As this is the first project and I will learn from my mistakes as well as those of others, I will try with the new domain not to increase the cost, I hope it will be enough.

Thank you so much for this list!

What did I do today?

  • I made an informational article not for affiliate for reviews site, already a little better than yesterday, 678 words, outlink and YT video.
  • I added SSL security to both sides

I also have 2 questions.
If I am translating a text from another language, and I post it as an article, does Google treat it as a plagiarism, or should I make a mix of articles from several different sources?

Where do I get pictures for articles about products if amazon prohibits copying them from amazon? For example, if I copy photos from European e-bay, will Google treat it bad?

If you are stubborn you re gonna achieve whatever you want. Find something you love and work hard :) good luck dude :p

  • Today I added an article 969 words on the tips site.
  • I created a Pinterest account where I added Pin and Instagram where I uploaded a video of the post.
  • On the tip page I changed the theme to Free Astra, and it work really fast.
  • I created logos for both sides

If I buy out the Astra, can I use the motif on both sides at the same time?
Should I index pages on Google myself?

Check out festerings vault you can get Astra for I think $15

Done today:
  • I added 2 posts (tip site) 1168 and 1313 words (4,5k words total), also Pinterest and IG posts
  • I created a page on fb for tip site
  • I bought this 15$ (doesn't want to invest much at first, but the amount is not big) a package in vault and installed Full Astra Theme

I spent 1.5 hours looking for information on how to schedule the page for reviews. Probably the best solution would be to add information articles in bulk, and leave 10-20% for amazon, with 1000-2000 words for information and 3000-6000 for reference. The second page with tips is meant to make money on ads, so I'll only use 1000-2000 words of informational articles, written under SEO and Social Media at the same time.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Good luck man. Quitting 9-5 is also in my plan, it's not as heavy as yours but really boring.

Research the niche, be original and never quite. Something will happen at some point.

Good luck :)

Good luck to your journey and remember, don't quit only because it's difficult at the beginning.
I could review your website and give you a few tips (I'm also German myself and I think your translating English Articles in to German) .

From what I know now your pretty good at researching things which is very helpful, keep that up!

The easiest part is starting the journey as you feel motivated and pumped up at the beginning but the hardest one is continuing the journey until you achieve it. So I hope we got to see this journey until the thread title will be changed to- completed my journey successfully. good luck
