Thanks for your "story". The problem I see with buying fans is they could be anyone and may not be interested in your niche. They might be but I don't think all of them would be. The way I am doing it is to be active on pages where people the people I want to target will see it. I plan to monetise this eventually so if I end up with people who aren't interested in the niche, they wont buy from me.

Do you car to explain more about how you found a buyer? Did they just approach you?

Agreed ! I just told my friends to get me fans and they started spreading it and now i really have interaction inside my Fb page. I'd rather have 1000 fans , with 60% of them interacting. Than to have a page with 100k fans with no interaction.

Btw Kevin nice work ! I tried doing your method ( go to niche page , like , comment and post if possible ) but so far no likes. I just did a dozen though. How many do you do a day ?

Will follow your progress ! At this rate you'll have your 50k in a couple of months ;).

I normally spend 15 minutes or so in the morning when I first get up. I'll post a pic (if my internet lets me) and then check to see if there are any new pics that have been posted on the other pages. If there is I'll comment on a couple and then leave it for a few hours. I'll just do that a few times a day. If I get time I'll spend half an hour doing more pages at once.

It is best to split it up as more pics will be posted throughout the day and also as people comment, your comment will be pushed further up so wont be seen unless someone clicks "Show all" which very few will do.

Just keep at it. I found that as I got more likes and posted more, you'll see the "Virality" percentage of you posts will go up so more people who haven't liked your page will start to see it.
 
Just started using your method for getting more likes, lets see how it work for me.
 
I started my page on 31st December, so far just 85 likes (half of them my own friends)

It's all quite manually to start with so you have to keep at it but once you get going it will start to grow itself.

A few years ago pages you liked would show up in your friends news feed such as 'Joe Smith likes fucking your mom' or something like that but it doesn't do that now. Well I don't think it does anyway, so you have to be active in similar pages.

Pretty well! Will probably break 1000 by the end of tomorrow. My weekly reach is just over 4500 so may start to think about ways to get money from this relatively soon.

No I haven't really mention yet but I'll tell you what I have in mind!

You have probably seen a lot a bit.ly or goo.gl links on pictures on fan pages. If you haven't, there are a lot. I was basically going to have a short url on my pics linking to an affiliate product/site. I checked the stats on some of the links that are posted in the same niche and they have had thousands of clicks! Even if 1% of 10,000 convert on a $5 product, that is $500 in my pocket!

I mentioned before about my total weekly reach. At the moment that is around six times higher than the number of people that actually like my page so even if there isn't a huge amount of people liking your page, people will still see the link.

So you will be posting an image but including a shortened link to an offer in the text?

what sort of offers do you choose? Do you make your own landing pages? What kind of text would you use?
 
You seem to be doing well. Have you got these like purely from commenting on similar pages?
 
James I am not sure about the affiliate yet. I will probably split test things and run a few campaigns and see what converts better.

Yes these are all from commenting and liking similar pages. I had one page share my page earlier but that is it.
 
Hi, nice thread! I have some questions since i am not familiar with facebook.

To create a fun page you use your real facebook account with real personal information or you created a new fake account with a pen name? Does it make any difference?

I have heard people say that if you use a fake account, it is possible that facebook will ask you to verify it after you exceed a number of fans. Is is possible to lose your account if that hapens?

This update is a bit late as I'm having internet problems and I'm having to use my phone. I've had a decent day and I'm almost at my 1000 initial target which is good. Nothing new to report yet, still just commenting and liking.
