Friend messing

Hello everyone,
I met a good friend here 2 years ago, we worked a lot together and been always on contact until last week.
he is going through mental issues and had some bad ideas, last week he went radio silence after sending me some cryptic goodbye text.
I couldn't get a hold of him because there's no mutual friends or family members.
I didn't know where to post this, but is there a way to check German records for suicide cases? using name and DOB.

He moved recently and I'm not sure which state he is or was in
I'm fearing the worst at this point.

Do you know in which town he is/was living in? The newspapers of some towns sometimes publish Todesanzeigen/Traueranzeigen if the family wishes to do so.

No idea on his location sadly
