If nothing is working then you need to check your setup as it is probably a problem on your end, not a problem with the software.
why you need a software for this ? when you want to download a video just delete ube from the limk ... For example your video link is this

Yeah if nothing is working use keepvid or savefrom.
I download a 3hr video from savefrom today so I can assure that its working.

after installing both keep vid and savefrom keep vid i installed from torrent i have green icon which lets me download again thanks guys for help cheers

I recommend Allavsoft which is easy to use to download from youtube, vimeo, spotify etc.
Simply copy and paste the video or music url to Allavsoft and click Download button.
It has both Mac and Windows version.
