So about two weeks ago I started growing my Tik-Tok accounts again after almost 3 months of not touching them. Some stuff has changed, and I just wanted to share what I learned over the past 2 weeks. I might start a journey thread if I start making some more money off TT

-TT values watch time over engagement. Ive posted several 10-15 second clips that will get a 1-10 or 1-20 like ratio, with lots of shares and saves, but the post won't get passed the initial stage of viewing. On the other hand, all my viral videos have have been over 45 seconds and have had shitty engagement. So longer videos get priority. I also heard that this was because TT is Starting a monetization program and it wants longer videos.

-No more than three videos per hour, and 1 per hour does better. So back in April I was posting 40 videos in like 2 hours and they would all do well, but now if I post more than three, every video past the third gets 1-10 views that day, and gets pushed a little the next day but nothing viral. I'm testing 1 video per every 3-5 hours and its working good so far, those videos are getting pushed hard.

So yea thats what I see has changed over the past few months. If anyone has anything else has had success with TT i'd be down to get in contact and share some strategy. Or if you have anything to add, please do!

are you doing mobile posting or web? running multiple accounts?

Could you give any more details about your content creation process? Are you downloading videos from elsewhere online and editing slightly to make it unique?

I just completed a SAAS system that automates posting on all social media platforms, including TikTok. Currently, I am using automated comments on TikTok to promote my system, but the results are not very promising.

Thanks for the reporting ! Algorithms change constantly, keeping up with them can be a headache.

Wowo that is a big research, thank you for sharing, so basically they have a treshold and punish your videos, so could be a mix of long and shorts or as you did only videos of 45 seconds and every 3 or 5 hours between posting.

So how much longer then?
45 secs is too little, so 60 secs or so?
What's the maximum allowed length on TT anyway ?

Like how many views do you get per video

You can post all videos at once, you don't have to wait. Watch time is important, but people also have to engage to push it out further.

I don’t think so. I’ve posted 5 at once, and anything after 3 gets shitty views compared to spreading them out. Is it working for you?

Here is some of my stats. Started this about 2-3 weeks ago with 900 fallowers. We’re up 70k likes and 700 follower’s with about 200-300 page views per day.

I haven’t made any money yet but I’m going to start adding the link into the videos with cloaking and using a custom landing page. I’ll update results

I wouldn’t make it over like 1:30 because you want to flatten the watch time curve. Too long means more people click off and then less completion of the video. I keep it around 30-60 and it seems to be working. Around 30-40 seems to be doing well. Not too long for the 0 attention span people but also long enough for the algorithm to push it

Yes I’m stealing vids and it’s working very well. It has gotten harder over the past few months but you just have to adapt figure out the tricks

I’m going to post 8 videos in a row right now and see what happens. I’ll post my results
