Hey Guys,

I'm an seo and ppc consultant and have more recently gotten deeper into the seo game.

Like most seo pros, I find link builders and build out various link building campaigns for my sites and client sites. if you know what your doing in seo, you need to give fairly specific instructions on how to build the links from specific anchor texts, number of inbound links, PR of site...etc.

I found that it was a huge pain in the ass to have to manually check if my links were built as per my exact instructions. I basically had to manually look at each page and see if my link was there, with the correct anchor text, pr of the site...etc.

I looked around like crazy for a software that can do this kind of anchor text check, but couldn't find anything out there. so i figured i'd create one myself. it's a fairly simple program that takes in some user entered info and spits out a report showing details of the URLs specific to the site that you are doing the SEO on.

This is how it works:

User enters a URL, which the SEO campaign is based around and list of URLs that were sent to you by the link builder that should contain your links.

Click "Analyze Links" and the program will output the following info for each link entered:

- URL
- Link PR
- Domain PR
- Number of Outbound Links
- Anchor Text
- Anchored URL
- Is Do Follow?
- Robots Meta Tag text
- Google Cache Date

This little program has saved me hours of time. I hope it can help out some of you guys as well. If this is something that you think you can use, you can download it for free here: http://seoanchortextanalyzer.com/. There's more info on the site.

Any feedback you can provide would be really appreciated. I would like to continue to build upon the functionality of the program. Any donations would help get this done faster. Once I collect enough feedback to justify a new release, I will post the updated software on the site.

Happy link building!

mike

Mike,

dpnation on the way bro, really cool

quick quest: how come the tool doesn't search for backlinks in yahoo ?
right now I first need to import links and then it would check them....

That's a good question and something I can eventually build into it. However, the idea of the program right now is to basically check the work done by some link building service that you as an SEO guy have outsourced to.

So let's say I hire a company to built me 50 backlinks to my site. 10 each of PR0-PR4. Once they send me my report, I need to verify for each site that the PR is correct, they used the correct anchor text, which is linking to the correct page and to see if the site has been indexed.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought it was a PHP script and as I am a mac user I can't use it.
Unless I launch VirtualBox, thing I hate to do:p
So if you can transform your app in php script, I will test it asap !
Thanks
Robert

I'll see what I can do about this in the next release.

I am going to be adding some new functionality. Two columns: one to show the IP address and one will be "duplicate c-ip" with 'Y' or 'N' to show whether the links were created on the same IP. Similar to what's done here: http://www.ip-report.com.

Can anyone think of some other useful information to add to the report?

no problem. glad you liked it. does anyone have suggestions on different types of functionality to add?

Nice tool but i believe that other tools can do this, take a look at the seo firefox plugin, if you can make one as a script anyone can put on a server it would be better.

Can you tell me the name of any tools that do this? It doesn't really make sense to be a plug in as you need to enter in the URLs from a link building campaign.

The simple idea of the program is to verify that a link building campaign has been done correctly.

I would like to see report generation that creates html reports or reports that are organized well. I would also like to see it analyze where a given site shows up in google for a keyword. So if it's on page 349 then the software will show page 349 with your site for that keyword. I hope that helps you to make this software better! :)

Hey guys,

I've just added some new functionality to the program. I've added two new columns that will show the IP of the site that contains your link and a column to show whether it's on the same C-IP class server denoted by 'Y' or 'N'.

You can download it here: http://seoanchortextanalyzer.com

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

I am a C# developer. If you are sharing the program, maybe you would consider sharing the source code as a BHW community project. Just an idea.

sorry, but i can't do that. it's not only mine to give out.

thank you for this tool. it does a great job of analyzing anchor text and links. quick question. is there a way you could add proxy servers to it. after running 100 or more links through it the cache feature becomes non-responsive or please advise if i'm doing something wrong.
