Not sure if many of you know this, but you can host your website for free with Google Drive! (Inb4 this is old).

This is perfect if you want to do PPV (and need a reliable host but don't want to pay for a VPS or dedicated server :D ) or if you are a newbie and want to save money on hosting.

I used to use google drive for parasites back in the day when I was still doing SEO.

Any ways I wanted to see if you could still have a website hosted and I did a little research and it turns out its still possible.

Here is a video that shows you how to do it (just put it on mute if you can't understand what he is saying):

Here is a demo site I uploaded for a quick test:

http://www.googledrive.com/host/0B6...1IY1U4eWUxLWJ0SlR1LVJkdnp1bUxrX293QVB1TzcwclU

Please don't try to hack me or anything gay like that! Thanks in advance!

P.s I tried hosting a mobile site and it was all messed up - but when I uploaded a HTML5 theme (link above) it worked fine so.... yeah, read into that what you will. Do your own tests.

Thats Great share, You can do so many things with it.

Very interesting! I might use this for my next PPV campaign because reliable hosting is becoming harder to come by these days. 5 minutes of down time in a high traffic time of day could cost you money. Can't be having that and sadly it happens even on a VPS from most hosting companies.

Thank for the info, much needed..

did some one checked ? does not it violate the terms of use of google drive.? Google may disable your account later.

Wow that's cool but I will not do that.

I believe you can do some hosting with free amazon aws instances and EVEN with dropbox. There is a third party stuff called https:// pancake.io/. here, you only get a subdomain though. There was another party I found yesterday, but can't remember its name :S. Though, even free webhosts might be better than dropbox+static html+third parties. google searches can reveal a lot

How about building PBN with that host :O

yeah.... I used to use it for ranking parasites. Basically spin articles... create multiple G accounts upload content with a link or two... spam them to kingdom-come and then redirect them to the main parasite page. Should still be working in theory.

Would google eventually ban your account "IF" they ever found out? I mean, you are doing them a favour by building backlinks to their domain, which increases its value if they ever sold google domains on flippa, even though you'd abuse the virginity of their webmaster guidelines. I'd like to see some g0g0l employees ranking parasites, I bet they do.

Nice information NRE, let me host a sample site and see how it works..

I doubt it. Why would they care?

The only way I can see them banning your account is if you are posting some dodgy ass shit that is totally illegal!

Otherwise the worst they will do is probably just slap your URL so it does not rank (in certain manually reviewed niches...i.e payday loan etc.)

when you say redirect, do you mean 301 redirect or is it just a metaphor for changing the anchor link to your main parasite page after some time?

Be carefull on what you "post" on google drive if they detect some javascript, url redirects or something suspicious of spam, they will block the html for sharing and then all your traffic is going to end in a 404 page.

You can post also html files at public olfder of dropbox and then use the dropbox public link for sharing.
