Go to your ads manager, and click Create a New Campaign. (Green Button with +Create). Select Lead Generation, and go ahead and name your Campaign something that is similar to a relevant keyword. (This isn't NEEDED for Facebook, but it's a good habit to get into if you're thinking about running on other platforms such as Google that give you a quality score based on numerous things, campaign name is secretly included
). ** Don't split test, don't optimize budget.

** In the beginning, you want to have a high potential reach. (> 10M+) We will slowly narrow out the bad traffic and start to grow your healthy traffic. This takes time, be patient. Don't expand your interests just yet.
CONNECTIONS -
You should exclude people who like your page. If you want to show the same person the SAME ad 30 times and pay for it each time after they already converted, then include them. (I recommend excluding them for this promo).
PLACEMENTS -
For this promo, this screenshot is the best placements you should have. This will encourage the user to actually interact with your post, rather than just paying for an impression with NO action.

For your daily budget, do not spend anything less than $20/day. BUT, I promise you after you do this, you are going to want to spend way more than that. And you will. (Never start off with an insanely high number. You can always determine if an ad is a good as within the first $20 or even sooner). You also want to set an end date to be 3 days away from your giveaway. What is the giveaway? I will explain:

Yes. You are going to be doing a giveaway. But don't leave just yet. You are going to see what holiday is coming up. For Christmas, do like a Zoo Lights tickets (4) or Win 2 FREE Football tickets, etc. (Use Google and look up event that are in your area, then this will be your promo. The idea here is to giveaway something and in return, you get an email you can market, a like, a share, and a huge increase in organic reach. I will explain later).You should exclude people who like your page. If you want to show the same person the SAME ad 30 times and pay for it each time after they already converted, then include them. - Click Intro, and make the Headline catchy again. (Include the giveaway in ALL headlines. Including words like FREE and WIN).
- For the image, go ahead a re-upload your image. (This keeps everything clean).
- Next is the paragraph section. In this section, this is the best time to include things like **Remember to Share this post, Tag someone who might be interested, and Fill out this form.
QUESTIONS -
This part in important. Also, you need to make sure you are getting their full name, as well as phone number and email. (Facebook auto fills out this info for them, so they don't even need to do anything. Double check statistics for when Facebook last updated their user contact information, I know the phone numbers were JUST updated). Here is a question I asked if I was generating Real Estate Leads.
**Multiple Choice Question:
Are you interested in Buying or Selling a home in the next 0-3 months?
OR
Are you in the market for buying or selling a home?
^^ These are very simple questions and the answers should be yes, no, or maybe. (This is how you determine who is a hot lead, but even if they are not hot leads, you still get their contact info to help build your email list and use this tactic to its maximum efficiency).
Don't ask more than 1 - 2 questions. Also, make them very simple. Try to figure out a question to ask that will make them either a hot or cold lead.
POLICY & THANK YOU PAGE -
Make sure you properly do these. It's simple, but you are going to be getting a big list of people and you are going to be marketing them. Make sure you use proper advertising procedures.
YOUR NOT DONE YET -
Click the settings tab, and DOUBLE CHECK to make sure the option for "Sharing is OPEN". If you don't do this, the promo is pointless. This tab is right next to the content tab while creating your lead form.
