I hope this first freebie i submitted works for you
Register.com are offering a free domain name for a year, i know the offer is good cause i have used it a few times, just remove all the extras that they offer, and take the domain name, and its yours for free.

It seems deceiving. It's free only for the first year. but you'll still pay $95 for 3 years.

That would be almost 10 domains if you buy it from godaddy or namecheap for $10 each.

Nice try! But not good enough! :D

what has worked for me in the past is to get the new domain at the discount rate or free rate then about 6 months from registration date think about moving the domain to a diff registrar...thus avoiding the long term contractural obligation
