Social network site is like orkut, facebook, myspace and doing work on them is of no use for SEO.

Doing work on social bookmarking sites and web 2.0 blogs is very important in terms of seo.

How many of these web 2.0 sites should I use for a new site that is less than 2 already old? I have posted on 2 of them. how many more should I use?u
How do you guys get so much content to it? is 100% unique content or is it spun?
How many articles should there be on each site?
 
Hey phpbuilt, great thread you have here, tried my.opera and posted an article without links, they banned me instantly even with no links, gonna try a few more.

Use as many as you want to, the more the better. Web2.0s are about the highest quality links you can get, because the links are in content. Spin the articles so they're unique.

Regarding how many articles, reuse your web2.0s and continue posting to them. It will make it an updated blog which Google will return to and consider more important than if you only post one or a few articles then never return.
 
Great. Thanks much for the share and reply. One more question; I am subscribing with complete different information (email, user name) than my money site . How about twitter and FB and accounts should I start new ones only for web. 2.0?

Howdy - Thanks and rep given - this thread has really helped me out - I've been doing my own stuff for a while and recently was able to land my first offline client. So, I'm looking for stuff like this and am in major learning mode right now.

opendiary has some issues with it. If you type site:opendiary.com you get 72k results, but they're tag, category and odd pages -- none of them represent anyone trying to SEO anything.

You can't find site:opendiary.com "ugg boots" or site:opendiary.com "seo services" or anything else people would normally want to create links for their linkwheels with.

20six.co.uk used to be on the list. For many months now they have been "Sign Up ist temporary not available", so they were removed from the list.
