Thought I'd share this simple method and hope a few people click thanks as part of my ongoing quest to raise my ranking :D
It's a variation on a well known technique that I've been having good results with. Really simple, and only slightly unethical!

First though, a maxim I feel all blackhatters should live by:
"Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission!"

Ok now that's out of the way:
1) Fire up your browser and try and find a few article farms
2) Open them up and search for your niche/keywords/article idea
3) Click on all the resource boxes and open all the links in new tabs
4) Close all the tabs that opened on an actual site, you're looking for websites which have gone tits up and the author hasn't bothered renewing.
5) Goto http://web.archive.org and search for those dead sites
6) Steal all the articles :D
7) Paste every article you intend to steal into a plagiarism checker to ensure that it's not indexed anywhere else.
8) Do what ever you want with them!

Honestly I wouldn't recommend doing a whole site with this, but when you're looking for a nice easy way of propagating a new site and you can't quite motivate yourself to write anything :D

Oh, here's another handy hint as well, when you're doing this, don' over look the value of all those comments!

There's alot of things you can do with them:
1) use them as generic comments when posting comments
2) Forming the basis of response/follow up articles on the same subject
3) Bulking out the article should you choose to rewrite it
 
Thanks Claudiu, obviously alot depends on how lucky you are, but I've had some VERY good results with this method :D
 
If they are on these article farms, wouldn't it just be considered plagiarizing off them?
 
No because you aren't taking the articles from the article farm, you're taking the deindexed content from the wayback machine

Stealing others article no way, man. But your proposal seems a bit logical to me.
 
this is quite interesting. please excuse my noobness but i dont fully understand your steps. ok i found articlefarmdotcom when i googled the word. gunna check this out.

is there a good online plagiarism checker that is reliable?
 
This method is pretty clever, but I have tried something similar to this in the past using AC with not a lot of luck :(
 
Idea sound interesting but it is much hard to find a dead site which have the article.
 
i live by a different maxim....dont mess with duplicate content
 
I don't think it matters if its indexed... I think Google will still know its duplicate. Just my opinion... Have you had any actual results with this? Just curious.
 
well, this is time consuming.... always is much better to use translate from other languages like spanish or french

I don't get all the people saying it's time consuming, because it really isn't.

1) Open Ezine articles
2) Search for your Niche
3) Open every article in a new tab and click all the resource boxes.

That's all you need to do. When you find links to sites that don't exist any more add them to a list and scrape the content using the wayback machine at your leisure.

But I'm through spoon feeding this technique to people who are to dense to get why this is better than pasting poorly translated, idiom ladened french articles :D
