Happy Christmas BHW!

We've just added a FREE tool for the general IM/BHW community...

An AMR (Article Marketing Robot) 'Export file' URL Extractor

AMR (Article Marketing Robot) is one of the most popular online marketing tools available, and for regular users, there is a constant need to update, add & blacklist (remove) directories.

As part of this process, users will often find themselves with a standard AMR export file (which has an .amrx file extension) that they need to import into the software, but would prefer a simple text list of URL's so they can manually edit the list and remove unwanted directories before importing.

This FREE tool provides that function. It has been necessarily limited to a 500kb processing maximum (which is around 9,000 URL's) to avoid abuse with enormous files.

Feel free to share!

thanks for sharing, I hate those - one software only file extensions, this makes AMR even more useful

Why not post your directory lists here and let's swap them to build our AA rates.

Just export your last working submit list and then run it through our tool to convert it to pure URLs.

Thanks for sharing, I think this will become really useful in the future!

Thanks guys!

If anyone wants to share lists publicly, then just upload it to a sharing site (as a plain URL list) and post the URL here.

I've had a number of PM's about private list swapping, but we can't manage swaps between members, and we don't need other directory sources. If you want to do private swapping, then post your interest here and other members can then PM you directly.

iam interested in sharing lists for everyones benefit. PM me if anyone is interested.

i second the motion to share urls...high pr article sites would be great for all!

I am interested in the directory list unfortunately I have not been active here enough to be able to send PMs.

Not sure I understand the need for this as I have just bought the software. Does this imply I would need to be finding article directory sites all the time.

Totally agree! Would be much better to share your AA list of working URLs. Anyway care to share for xmas?:) lol

I've had a number of PM's asking about .amrx files...

PLEASE - address these questions to this thread or the forum; I don't have the time to answer individual PM's. If it's included as part of the thread, then EVERYONE gets to benefit from the Q&A - not just one person.

.amrx files are the standard export files that AMR produces when you do an export of directories. If you don't even know how to export/import then I suggest you have a play AMR:

It's just Tools : Import/Export Site List and use the 2nd tab to export as an .amrx file. The first tab is to import the text list of URL's (That my tool outputs.)

I've just posted a complete AMR Guidelines/Tips page on our site:

The AMR server should be back up and working for everyone again now.

Looking forward to Vince's .0.5 release coming soon. Hopefully it will address the database duplication issue properly!

with the death of so many decent article dirs im now looking to start building my own network. i have read a few of your posts in other blog network threads and see you currently run a large network.

obviously no interlinking between all blogs.

best c-class hosting i have found is cclassiphosting.com as it allows me to add several sites per ip address. limited to 5 i believe is this a problem?

what is your opinion on spinning as i never spin my content currently as it keeps approval rating high but on my own network i dont know if it would be a bit risky, but this is only so i dont get the exact same content on every site(big question i know)?

someone advised me to stay away from the use of the word "article" and "article directory" which i think is good advice maybe you have an opinion on this.

i know you probably get a lot of pms about this sort of thing but i hope you can find time to answer a couple of my questions

Correct... NO interlinking at all!

If you check out this thread which I commented on:

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/392502-search-engine-optimization-hosting-services-do-you-use-your-networks.html#post3696598

... you'll see that 'Aseohosting' and 'Indianets' pretty much run at the top of the leaderboard. I would never put more than 10 sites per IP, but usually limit to 5, and this is only when they're not thematically similar. I wouldn't put 5 weight loss sites on the same IP for instance. You generally need to put more than 1 on an IP, or it gets prohibitively expensive (and hard to source the full number of separate number of IPs) for large networks.

Spinning isn't an opinion; it's a hard fact of life for playing in the big leagues. There is no possible way you're going to populate a network of 100-1000 sites with 'original' hand-written content. It'd cost an absolute fortune. The why's and wherefores of spinning are an enormous topic of their own, but you need reasonable quality (so auto-spinning is out - except as a first step before editing), and you'll need SO much more than standard spintax. You'll need sentence spinning/substitution with integral nested spintax and paragraph substitution and re-ordering etc (the last part of which can't really be done via Spintax.) Check out:

Build a network with the same attention that you'd pay to an individual site. So create something of value and individuality. They can look similar (but not completely the same.) Do NOT use article/directory etc in the URL's - unless you're creating article sites - and that's not a network.

Create a network of 'niche' sites that all theme to different areas. This will make content creation easier as it spans a number of subjects. It also means you can get links from thematically different sites.

Hope that helps!
