Hey everyone, hope y all doing well
Recently, I came across a website selling IPTV subscriptions that has been showing up in search results for months. What caught my attention is that when I checked it through lumendatabase, it has received very few random DMCA complaints from months ago compared to other IPTV providers getting them almost daily.
After digging a bit deeper, I noticed something interesting: the site seems to be conditionally accessible. It only loads properly if the visitor is from the owner’s country and arrives via search results. Otherwise, it returns a 403 error along with a fake WordPress “maintenance” page.
Do you think this kind of setup is actually doable?
I’ve tried implementing something similar using Cloudflare Workers, but I’m struggling to make it work without blocking Googlebot. Even after allowing known good bots, Googlebot (and my GSC indexing checks) still end up getting blocked.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before or has any ideas on how it could be implemented correctly?
My guess is that many DMCA complaints are automated by IP monitoring agencies that scrape keywords or page content, and this setup might be designed to avoid that—but I’m curious to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
