I agree, None asked me about my review, but as a forum member, I'm seeing these design & Interested in suggesting / feedback to bring this community better on all aspects.

From the Designers point :
- 1st one looks nice. but if we include gifs - then it will be of much better.
- 2nd & 3rd can be re-modified into much better. Since they look ordinary or simple.


@BHW Designers, Interested / volunteers can bring their Best to this community.
Its just an idea that strikes me, then i posted it now.

So, designers who looking for projects can prove their skills here or designers who interested / giving something back to BHW community - This is Best choice!

Whether the Idea is Cool ?
Forum admin / MODS choose the Best ones, As the result - All the future BHW banners will be 5 / 5.

I don't see why as it appears that @back2form is just trying to help out for free and encouraging others to do the same.

I could never vote for what looks best as I have a little less than zero artistic genes in my body and mind.

BTB, Encouraging others to do the same - Why because

If i design banner & that should looks 5 / 5 to me,
But, how other rate ? May be 1 / 5 or 4 / 5, that depends on other view point.

If it was open to all, then Admin together Rate & fix the Best one - That was the only thing in my mind to encourage others to do the same.

I don't see whats wrong or what makes others to think erring

Okay, I've just made gif to the Original static Image for banner 1

This is 100% example of what am going to do with the other 2 & 3. Which one is Good - either 1 or 2 or 3 ?

I wouldn't consider myself much of a designer, though I suppose I'll chip in.

1. I see the 1st banner above the fold sometimes. It's pretty plain, but I do notice it. It does gives the ad space a sense of vacancy.
2. I see the 2nd banner on BHW often, but I don't think it looks good on the default black theme. Then again, it looks like it was designed for the white theme. I'm looking at banners #2 and #3 right now in the footer, and it looks like this is the case (one is for white theme users, the other is for black theme users).
3. The 3rd banner is my favourite. I don't see it around here often, but I find it visually appealing since it matches the design of the site.

The gifs you create are too... Much. They're just too much.

1. Gif #1 isn't that bad, but I find it annoying.
2. Gif #2 gives me a headache
3. Gif #3 gives me a migraine.

the 3 designs u posted are bit of too much IMHO, eyes kind of hurt, maybe lessen the gif intensity, Zwielicht said it perfectly.

First one is good actually just make it more 'light' on the eyes, its little too flashy.
