I know it’s not the biggest deal in the world, however, since the new BHW update, I’ve missed seeing the Occupation and Location fields being displayed on posts.

Yes, it’s still viewable on your ‘member profile’ but not anymore on posts. I am curious why this was removed but hope to one day see its return.

I think that 99% of people made false claims in theirs generally.
Amazing how many were from New York or USA and had probably never visited.

My location was real, but I put my occupation as "Death". I mean, whether or not that was true...

Regarding the features you mentioned, I believe they were originally removed to prevent clutter. Although, as @MisterF already explained, both the location and occupation lines were often abused by members either trying to mislead the community about their location to get better sales, or in the case of occupation, it was used by members to sell outside of the marketplace.

As far as I'm aware, I don't think either will be displayed in threads again (which is a shame, I liked members seeing my "Death" occupation), but I suppose the option is always there. Either way, it's not my choice to re-implement it.
