Former CEO Now Pizza Delivery Boy..

I don't feel bad at all. It is sad that people do not realize that you have to save money in order to have money. You can't just spend it all. The story is sad but not so sad at the same time. It just makes me angry to see people like them waste a good opportunity and don't know how to handle money properly. Dumb.

This reminds me of those hollywood celebs who earn millions a year, but then have zip to
show for it. Too bad they don't teach financial management in school.

No sympathy - should always be prepared and not take nothing for granted.

what a noob,
he spends all his money then complains that he has no money.

I doubt he'll stay a pizza boy for long... Most people who are capable of starting a successful business, are able to do it again even in if they have to start from scratch. Its sad but the majority of people I've met in life I suspect could never even achieve a $750k/year business even if someone spoon fed them the startup funds because of their lack of commitment.

wow. alot of judgment going on in this thread. first off i will say that this is neither a sad or "ha ha" story for me. could care less. he took a calculated gamble (which is still a gamble) and it didnt pay off. back to the drawing board, ya know, like tried clickbank, not working, cpa--nope, ehoring---or whatever i see many times a week on here.

1) any hedge fund guy making $750k a year did not get there overnight. i lived in nyc during the last bull market and it shocked and amazed me how much money those in investment banking, hedge funds and private equity were making. i knew guys in their mid thirties worth 20-50mill on paper.but they were leveraged to the hilt with their houses, spending habits of their spouses, business interests, trips to vegas and blowing 75k in a weekend on champagne, gambling and ho's. they were drunk and it was the arena they played in. everyone in that arena either wanted to start a hedge fund or did start one. it was the thing to do and the fast track to making multi hundreds of millions a year. oh yeah, in manhattan nyc to be considered middle class your household income is appox $120k a year.

if you've been keeping up with the news, we now know that the deck of cards is crumbling down and bringing those that tie self worth with monetary worth with them.

2) also, america and any other country that subscribes to gross consumerism will eventually drown themselves in debt. they felt as long as you have the future monetary means to live that lifestyle, it justified the toys they bought. spending money can be habit forming and as the saying goes, "hang around 9 broke friends you are bound to be the tenth". i've seen professional athletes first hand buy homes, cars, toys, clothes, invest in ill-advised business, support their friends and women and children on the side---all because they knew they were making $10 million next year. and the cycle continues.

I DONT SUPPORT ANY OF IT. JUST SAYING WHAT I'VE SEEN. in turn, i try to do what works for me which is sell only to those that want/need what i'm selling, and put myself in a financial place that i am comfortable with. nuff said.

but before you judge and start calling all those that spend those amounts crazy idiots, remember to not throw a blanket over everyone that spends their money, otherwise you might not have a market for what you are selling. in fact, judging by the incredible increase of pitch emails i've been getting in the past 3 months from IM Gurus i suspect they are starting to feel a crunch as well. just a guess though...

be smart with your cash.

Why isn't the wife working as well? That could be 15.00 per hour..
It only takes a couple years to clear bankruptcy and start fresh and cash only.
Cred cards are the anti-Christ.. tear them all up

Laughing at these people.. some people are just destined to deliver pizza's :D

hes still dumb. Why not make his new company before he quits.. It's so simple!

Rather than quitting and gambling. Why not simply start your new business while you're working.. Then if u fuck up u still have your job. Or at least save up a bunch of money to be safe, and no when to quit jeez. He kept using his emergency funds to keep his business afloat. What a retard.. Know when to call it quits lol. If he at least kept enough to pay off his mortgage and enough to start up a different business if he thought of a good idea (which this guy obviously can't do). LOL this guy underestimated the simple yet effective idea of planning, and he got fucked for it.

Survival of the Fittest. Good Riddance.
There is no way you can be a stock trader making 750k and be a CEO of a hedge fund at the same time.
They don't pay 750k a year for a half assed broker this guy had to consistently make enough money to justify his salary. Think about how many good brokers don't make anywhere near half that much. He had to be one of the best in his sector that's why he commanded that salary and probably what made him think he should go it alone.
I dont think it was a lack of planning or him being a "retard" but waiting to late to change/adjust his plan (which obviously wasn't working).
I would really like to hear more of the decision making process that led to this situation. How does an MBA get in this kind of financial position maybe the reason he is going public is to have a preventative seminar or author some kind of book.

This guy thought the party would never end. Not unlike the gurus who made mucho dinero
from their Adsense campaigns a few years ago. Remember 'mesothelioma'? :D
