I've been reading this forum for months now and I think it is time to make a move! I'm thinking about MNS.

I checked some keywords in my country (non-english), and they're marked as medium competition.

My question is, how would it work if it's a RTL language?

I'll create a couple of articles in my local language, of course.

The domain name will be in English though.. how would that affect me?

Any tips?

I'm not sure it's the right forum to post this Q, but i'd appreciate any help!

Why not get a domain with your language? That would help as I'm sure the keywords you are targeting are not in english.... no point in getting the english domain.

thats the problem, there is no domain names in my local language for sale. its a right-to-left language.. :-/

I would not target this. Stay with english - it might be bit harder but you will get better reward. Unless you are from Katar or other rich country

true, but I'm not in those oil countries

There are some keywords which are high competitive, and they're English domains, of course. so I'm sure it works. but I don't know what efforts I should put more into it since it's going to be a non-English site.

they do, but nobody uses RTL domains in my country. it's uncommon.

I just don't know if the domain name has any effect over SEO. for example, coachinginMYCITY.com, and all the content would be in my RTL language. would that work to get ranked in the first page for some keywords i'd be using?

wouldn't it be harder if i dont have the keywords (in RTL language) in the domain name?

It doesn't matter so much.

Keep linking and stay with your language + anchor link.

I know a forum where English isn't 1st or 2nd language and in a country google it has #1.

They have .com domain. It is not important.
