For Those Who Thinks Article Marketing Does Not Work

Hi math, I have been inspired by this thread and I would now be embarking on my own article marketing journey too. Thanks and I want to ask what is your method in keyword research. I'm kinda stuck there right now. I have picked some interesting KWs using Google's AdWords tool but no related product for them on CLickban*k. Do you first pick a product and then do the keyword research or the other way around?

You have to find your niche first and check for 10,000 to 50,000 search per month keyword in order to rank without much effort. Your articles have to be well writen, with good keyword density and most importantly, you 'target' keyword has to be in the title!
If you want to get on top of the results, check for 'micro-niche' with less competions and more active buyers.
As I do say all the time, 50 ready to buy visitors are worth more than 5000 window shoppers.

It's hard to find but when you do find a good one it's well worth the time you spend searching

I have never tried it but I think it's possible to promote almost anything with article marketing, as long as you do it the right way.

hey math,
this question is about an article "title"
when you do your keyword search, of course titles are multiple words,
are you doing it for a "phrase" ?
and if so do you place "quotes" around the search phrase?
(after all the vids and articles I've read still not sure about this point)

I just wrote a couple of ORIGINAL articles and submitted them to a popular directory. Instead of referring people to an affiliate link of mine, I am simply sending them to two new sites I created. I am doing that to test things. I want to see how many people come to the site(s) and there is nothing to buy on them. If all goes well, then I will know that my writing style worked. I will submit more articles later, driving traffic to specific niches where people aren't afraid of pulling their credit card to actually buy something. In this economy, many people tend to be a little more hesitant to spend money without a clear BENEFIT and/or certainty of ROI. There is nothing worse than buying into hype and getting crap after you've paid. I hate that so I don't do it to other people.

Good quality articles can certainly help you make more sale online. I also have a quick questions. Does any of your articles are ranking on the first page of the keyword you are targetting?

If you don't mind, can you please inform me on how to remove the Navbar? I probably have to just remove the actual navbar html directly from the code, correct? Thanks.

I saw his post the other day about "removing the navbar"
went to try to find info on it, and found some threads on "google help"
on the subject......it's dicey at best......looks like you need to alter
"script" rather than (I guess the "old days") selecting a drop down option
that basically say "hide or remove navbar" maybe they realized that giving
people the option to remove it was something they didn't want...
one reason being no one could use the "report abuse button"...I got an itching feeling that removing it could get you disabled by google, it's like you can't win for losing...
I wish I could disable it, but the closet I could find was a google
representative telling someone "we don't suggest it, but I can't stop you" "wink wink*"
and I'm sure not everyone at google thinks the same way
I would read up on it rather than taking someones "forum assumption"
so this way if it does get you disabled by goggle you can't blame anyone!
the flipside being your competitors may try to "report abuse" if they simply
don't like you, or your competition to them
(this is my 2 cents of what I surmised and my viewpoint, if you have more authoritative or better information, please share!)

Not all of them, but It takes quite a while to get to the first page. Depends on the niche/competion too.

You juste have to remove some html codes... google 'remove blogger navbar' and you'll find it instantly.
I know it's againts Google's TOS but... this forum is not called Black Hat World just for fun....

Awesome thread! I have just started article marketing myself and am thrilled to choose this path as I love to write. I do have a professional-looking Wordpress blog set up in my niche but except for Ezine, I am instead using redirect links to my aff products. I am just starting to promote my first one. The redirect link includes the product name and my domain and it goes directly to the aff landing page. It still looks professional. Do you recommend that this is not a good idea though and that I should just direct all my articles to my own website and they can click on the aff product from there? I really wanted to do it with redirects because I really like their own landing page.

Just submit like 20 articles a day to my ezine articles account, make pretty good money, i'm gonna start outsourcing it soon.
Really not hard, even if they aren't well optimized, you'll still get traffic, takes me like 5 minutes to write an article, I usually get 5 to 10 clicks out of it, instead of watching tv in my free time I just write, pretty simple stuff actually.
I once had an article bring in over 1,000 clicks, I didn't SEO it for any keyword, weird how that works.
