Is Google core update over in only one day or it lasts few days ?

You mean, how much time do they take to be fully deployed? Depending on the type of patch is fully deployed at the moment of release, but certain are deployed over a couple of weeks or even months like WSO (Core Vitals) and others in the past like responsiveness tests and all that.
Otherwise, technically they last forever, or at least until next patch that could override whatever was done in the former.

Google itself does not actually know (irrespective of any timeframes they may provide). Their algorithms are nowadays an untamable beast, over which Google itself has no total control. Considering that their algorithms are extremely complex, they have various teams working on that and being a big brand company, obviously those various teams would lack coordination (internal politics, ego clashes between managers, etc).

So whatever ranking now blogs have got will remain stable or nearby stable ?

Such a big company will grow only when there is good coordination between the teams.
