You mean, how much time do they take to be fully deployed? Depending on the type of patch is fully deployed at the moment of release, but certain are deployed over a couple of weeks or even months like WSO (Core Vitals) and others in the past like responsiveness tests and all that.

Otherwise, technically they last forever, or at least until next patch that could override whatever was done in the former.

Considering that their algorithms are extremely complex, they have various teams working on that and being a big brand company, obviously those various teams would lack coordination (internal politics, ego clashes between managers, etc).
