You really can't say it is or it isn't until it comes and passes we will never know. Try living your life as if today is the last day and then when that year comes if your lucky enough to still be here then who cares what happens. As long as your happy and you can die tomorrow with no regrets then I say bring 2012 on.

You know why? No you don't. But I know because I drew this calendar when I was 7 years old. And when I got to 2014 I fell from the table I sat at.
I was so tired after drawing many years of a calendar.
So you see now. Something will happen where I stopped drawing.
Just like where the calendar ends of some tribe that doesn't exist or something, and all those other things that go with the year of 2012.

Sorry to shoot yer teacher in the foot but 32 bits = 4294967295 + 1980 would be the year 4294969275. Not sure what that would be in star trek years but it's an awful long time away.
To be more precise I think MS started counting from the year 1970 or 1900 or something, anyway your school teacher was a long way short
