Hey guys, I have a weird question ( don't know if it's the right category, probably not lol ), but does anyone know is it possible to buy a baby owl online or at least somewhere in East Europe ?

Yea man, I searched all that already. I saw the regions, that's for US and UK only. They don't ship to eastern europe countries. Thanks anyways man. Appreciate it!

This is the exact forum you should be asking such questions in. If those friendly folk at Blackhatworld can't accurately answer all your owl related questions, who can?

The only owl I know is on hootsuite.

Ebay. Craigslist. OR, just go to aliexpress. They sell everything x_x

Further reading for you - Owls do not make good pets and you'll need a permit and Falcony training. It is illegal to keep owls without special permits in most countries. Some countries issue permits to individuals to keep owls after necessary training and proper facilities have been built.

It's sad that I can't find any owls online.. Do you have any idea where they could be bought ?

You will need to get training and a permit, owls need large amount of space and freedom. I suggest you read the link and see just what it involves, a lot of training and money and space. It is illegal in most countries in Europe without a permit

Yep I read that, and I read a lot more. I would buy an e-book on how to train an owl and much more about them. I could raise it easily, I would order a big cage for outside and customize it for the owl. But the only problem is, I can't find an owl lol

No law about owl keeping in my shitty country as I saw on some forums haha. But no1 sells them sadly. I'm searching for 4 days, still nothing.

This might be one of those rare situations where finding the answer offline might be the way to go. Find what authorities regulate the possession of this type of birds in your country especially if you're going to need a permit anyway and ask the people that work there. If anybody knows, it's going to be those guys. Also, find organizations that are dealing with bird protection, because they might have injured or bred in captivity birds that wouldn't survive in the wild. But please keep in mind that getting a pet is a real responsibility and you shouldn't get a particular pet just because you think it's cool or something. Too many people get exotic pets and then get bored with them condemning them to a boring and psychologically traumatizing life in captivity that borders on torture. So educate yourself first on the annoying parts of taking care of an owl and what the owl would need from. If you manage to reach other people that have such birds, talk to them and so on and only then adopt such a special pet. Also there are probably very good reasons for something like that to be illegal in most places - it's probably very hard for people to provide good living conditions to them and even if they do, they would probably be better off in the wild.
