So what is changing? FollowLiker has grown to be a must-have tool for all categories of social media marketers. Over time, the usage of FollowLiker has grown significantly to the point where we now have several millions of accounts being managed with the program. Also, the social networks have began to change the rate at which they update their systems and the rate at which new features are added.


While we are excited by the exponential growth in the industry, we also want to ensure that we can maintain our commitment to offering unlimited access to the key and upcoming features to all users. To keep this commitment and to ensure the survival of the FollowLiker program, we are introducing a $5.99 monthly subscription.


This subscription plan will do two things:


- Allow the FollowLiker team to employ more hands in handling the frequent changes being made by the social networks.

- Increase the number of FollowLiker license servers distributed around the world.


Monthly subscription is on per-license basis. Payment will occur only once a month regardless of the number modules under a license. If two licenses are merged, monthly subscription for one of the licenses will be canceled.


You will be required to key into the subscription program on or before September 1, 2017. You can do that by clicking the "Help->Renew Subscription" menu in the software.

Actually, I really doubt that they are facing any financial hardships. The opposite, now that their competition is down (since many other similar services had been hit recently) they try to take advantage of the situation.

VERY very disappointed from this situation... If by the end of the month they don't reconsider, I am requesting a refund from PayPal too

How long after purchase can you request a refund?

If anyone has lifetime license it can't be converted into Monthly subscription plan.
It's mandatory for all even if you are holding 1 account in FL.

They have changed now all pricing. Eg one time fee + monthly subscription for each plan.

It's 180 days according to PayPal's terms . I had been using for longer, but still will try my luck if the FL team don't reconsider their new rules

Quite confusing... what does it matter that the license is still one-time? We still have to pay for a license + subscription, so it's basically the same thing.

Does that mean that the fees will apply only to new users?

It appears to me that old/new customers will pay the same overall, it's just old customers have already bought the 'license'

Yup, pretty much. To use it you need a license plus subs... and it appears you need to pay twice, if you have, say the Twitter FL and the Instagram FL... so that'll be an extra $12 a month just to use what I've already paid for.

Pure comedy. What about the people that don't want to use it? It was their own mistake for offering a 'lifetime license', I don't care if they mismanaged their business, $97 is not a joke and I'd willingly donate it to BHW by adding one more jrVIP year (till 2019) than have these crooks have my money.

They will apply to old users too. The different is that old users will have to pay monthly and new users will have to pay the full price of the software + monthly.

I guess one way of fighting back over this is to try and get it so they can no longer market the software on here. Im sure a large % of their customers are on here.

But that is not easily achieved. BHW has a process for this. You'll have to open a shit list and prove him wrong so that moderators will take action. As far as I know, moderators confirmed themselves that it's a bad strategy by FollowLiker, but they haven't done anything against their terms of service I believe. But if a large portion of users on BHW complain about FL's decision, the mods might be forced to take action.

That said... how much i have to pay for a 5 account lifetime now?

Bought my LIFETIME license in Dec and haven't even used it, now a little pissed off that I will have to start paying monthly to use it.
It isn't even the cost that is annoying, it is the fact you pay for a LIFETIME license but now they say pay the monthly fee or they will have to close down, which is of course bullshit.
I can understand why they have done this but they should have offered some deal for those that paid for a LIFETIME license.

I've sent them a refund request. They keep copypasting this same message "We had no better option than to start charging the fee". Joke of a company.
