Followers Cannot 'Follow' my Shoutout Clients!

I've had this issue for a while now.

To be specific..

Say I give a client a shoutout. I post his/her photo/vid. In the description he requests I write the his provided description. IE: " Follow @Its_Me , he's the best "

If anybody, taps that Follow link @Its_Me, you're brought to his/her page and the Follow button is shown as "Loading" and is grayed out. Tapping the Loading will not do anything. Obviously this is Instagram's doing. This issue is not just on my account but I do notice some other accounts don't have this link issue.

On the flip side, the link in the 'Tag' (Tagging a friend or a celebrity) works just fine. You could follow my clients through there.

Obviously this puts a big dampener on the effectiveness of my shoutouts.

Does anybody know a work around this?

Any insight would be extremely valuable to me.

Try using a web browser instead of the IG app. Do this with different IG accounts.

Does it still happen?

Good advice

I just made a test post using my private personal accounts which has a small amount of activity.

I commented to Follow @bla bla and there was no issue.

Conclusion is my account has been flagged by IG or something.

The link in my comments works great while using Instagram via PC web browser.

Log off that account for 48 hours. Don't mention or link other accounts for another 48 hours.

See what happens then.

Account is monetized, so no activity would hurt

Comments link after the Photo Info seem to be okay.

Haven't linked in Info all day today. Will see tomorrow.

Client received some new followers, which is a massive relief.

I got the same error too, just bad signal on my phone. I would not care about it at all...

I'm connected through Wi-Fi. I've checked on numerous devices and accounts of friends, and all of them receive the 'Loading' follow button.

So the issue is with my account. lol

Do not use any uppercase in username in caption, it's a bug on iPhone. @Its_Me needs to be @its_me
