I don' do it. I let it rest for 6 hrs and continue again. Some are doing it. Your settings can't be aggressive though since you are running the bot non-stop. Be conservative.

I only run it for 15 hours a day but only follow 200 a day lol
 
there shouldn't be a problem to run it for 24/7 as you may set limits to follow/unfollow
 
i'm running FL 24/7, it all depends on your settings.

if you don't follow to many people per hour you should be fine.
