FOLLOWER drop on December 3?

Anyone else noticed a follower drop on December 3? I lost about 100 followers in one account and 64 in another (20-50k accounts) not much, but I never lost that much followers in a day.

Plus I have different content in each page so it's not a particular offensive post or something

actually had a really good day at December 3 my main account (80k) had a grow about 500 followers
 
"Can confirm. Happend to my 872k account as well. Lost 1000 followers in a day. Instagram is purging."

the reply from another guy and another forum. some of us are being purged!
 
got large drop, on my 1m account lost almost 15-20k. and others small account suffer around 1-2k
 
Saw massive losses over 5 of my clients accounts, definitely looks like a purge, though this isn't the kind of purge WE handle and deal with here, this seems to be an inactivity purge.
 
Lost about 1000 on my 1.4 million account. It seems like it is universal. Cristiano Ronaldo lost 86.000 in a day.
 
I lost few hundreds as well on few of my babes accounts in the past few days
