Focus on a keyword

How to focus on a keyword? For example let's have "best car". It's part of title tag, meta tags and with h1 or h2 in the homepage. Should I use this keyword as many as possible in my possible? Is there any other strategy?

If you are using wordpress, the free YOAST SEO plugin will walk you through everything for onpage SEO.
Makes it a lot easier. :)
 
maybe mention only another couple of times in the text, its difficult to say though, there isn't a clear agreement
if google really cares about keyword density. Best thing to do is examine the results in the top 10 of the keyword,
and see what they have, and copy them best you can.
 
@Panther28 very good idea.
From the othe rside, I see many examples that google is punishing websites with high kw density.

I am sorry, but no. Following Yoast will lead to overoptimisation like fuck. That's quite well know.

Because it will make you stuff keywords and have very high keyword density. Read the guide.

Been hearing bad feed backs about YOAST what does it do good or best anyway?
 
Keyword density should be 1.2% only per article..more than that, not fair
 
I am using the SEO Yoast Plugin for my start up. Thinking to buy Premium Version, I ‘ve been using in some of my websites
 
Use a limited number of Keyword in the article.If you use many numbers of the keyword in the content, then google will treat your page as a "keyword spamming" and will lead to an Over optimization penalty.should focus it 1-2% is enough for better ranking.

So its 1-2 % for every single keyword in the page? What if i use a verb alot and its 3-4% is that a problem for my targeted keyword?
 
do not try to bung your article with toooo many KW, keep it proper for your article. focus on the content, make the content more valuable for your audience.
