How do I go about hiring someone to post flyers in other cities. Obviously craigslist or any other such place to find people.

My problem is, how do I actually ensure they are posting them? I remember a thread (from here or some other site) mentioning the possibility of hiring someone and paying them based on leads... but I really don't like the idea and I'm not sure anyone else would either.

So, how do I make sure they do the job?

I was wondering the exact same thing. Can anyone with experience give us some input on this?
 
You can always pay them half and half with picture verification. Also, many major corporations have their employees verify work is done by taking a picture of the work done. Don't see why that couldn't be implemented in this case as well.
 
How would you take a picture of the handout work being done? That doesn't sound too logical to me, I'm afraid.
 
Picture verification as well as telling them that they do not get paid until your supervisor for the area checks his work that evening. Of course there is no supervisor but they do not know that and will either turn down the work or do the work properly.

Hire people who have a reputation for doing this type of work. Check out references.
Have you tested your flyer? if it works in one City you should have a response
from any other.
Do your flyers have a call to action that makes it compelling to at least give
you their email address?
