Flutterwave is a scam, be careful

Thanks man. In my case I was using their card to get the money out, then they suddenly locked the card (all transactions fail) and prevented me from withdrawing funds, paused all client payments then came with the passport bullshit, the rest is in the thread.
 
Go to Twitter and create a scene get big accounts to retweet and comment also buy some likes, brands dread bad PR a lot. That will get attention for sure.

They actually find a way to scam people

I have over 300 USD locked in there

This was from march last year

Provided all docs

And multiple docs

This companies find a way to take money

The worst part about flutterwave is ...your money will be taken even with glaring evidence
 
PayPal has been always doing things like this, so as they grow expect to be treated this way with this kind of payment processors :(
Something that noone will prefer, but everyone needs them.

Yes very correct. I never had issues with Flutterwave. It works for US businesses also. Not just Africa.

But just be sure to not sell illegal shits. Just as with many other legal payment processors. That's normal.
 
But I didn't use them since 9 months ago now. I switched to another payment processor for PayPal reasons only.

Fee days ago, Flutterwave secured ver 200 million USD, the company now values over 1billion USD

Lies, if your money been locked in, them the problem is definitely from you
 
I opened an account 3 months ago, I made a payment of USD $ 1.50 with my own VISA card, the card was processed correctly, Flutterwave has the funds but has not transferred them to my bank account in the USA, they have all the necessary documents. The person who attended me in the chat told me that they are working on the transfer of the funds ($ 1.44 USD). I cannot use this service with my clients if I cannot receive their payments on time. I'm still waiting.
I will try to open a virtual account in Nigeria to see if I can receive the funds, as suggested by Castamir.

he just gave his own experience. No company is perfect. Internal policies will burn you if you ain`t careful. I use them too, but i never trust any goddamn company
 
Update:

They removed the chat option completely from my account, sent them an email explaining the issue (as more than 6 months have passed they have to pay me).

Still waiting for them to answer. If they don't let me withdraw the funds on the account, then it's an undeniable proof that they're a scam service.
 
Final update: Finally solved this. They're not scammers.
