Classic Mayweather as always, i respect him for that he's too elusive for Pacquiao.

parley? :D

He might have won in the ring but not in life.

The guy has 7 cases of assault against 5 different women. He's a serial batterer. We're talking about a guy who slammed a car door into his baby mamas face then punched her in the head 2 times. If you pulled that shit in the NFL you'd be dropped immediately. Like Ray Rice. This guys career should have been over a long time ago.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets drunk tonight and winds up killing a bitch.

Yeah hes wrong for hitting women and shit but we dont know what caused him to do that, she could have been trying to steal a few million :)

Also Floyd does not drink or smoke, he takes care of the people around him and spends millions a year on alcohol for them and does not drink any.

Not everything is bad about the man.

dont bring ray into this :(

You shouldn't put spoilers in the thread title.

Anyway, I'm happy money won :D

People always talk about domestic violence like there's never an excuse to beat a woman. What if you found out she was about to kill a family member or was going to ruin your career? Equality and justice for all, idiots, not just selective treatment.

It`s about winning not fighting with honor especially when a victory check of 50 mil$ awaits. For that kind of money i would run like road runner in the ring.

kudos to the guy who won running away for 12 rounds

Says the troll & fraud.

We're talking about a "professional" boxer who slammed a door into his babys mamas head then punched her in the face 2 times.
Then after that assaulted 4 other women.

None of them were trying to kill anyone which is the reason he was charged.

You should spend less time getting drunk and more time reading facts.

So what?

Should every person that has a domestic case against them lose their livelihood?

We're not talking about everyone. We're talking about professional boxers.

Maybe you don't know this... but a professional boxer, MMA artist, anyone who fights for a living can be charged with attempted murder for assaulting someone. Their hands are considered lethal weapons. Cause they possess a specific skillset that is designed to hurt people (severely).

Football players are different. Their goal is to score a touch down not knock someone out.

And I'm merely pointing out that when shit like this happens in the NFL everyone finds out about it. It becomes an issue. But when it happens with boxers, where the issue should be taken even more seriously cause these men are trained to hurt people.... nobody GAF.

Because there isn't any excite. If your main bitch is about the murder someone, restrain her and call the police.

Glad that Mayweather won....he is a supporter of Manchester United :)

He's got over 6 Million followers on twitter now, I remember yesterday night he was just over 5 Millions, so he literally gained 1 Million followers on twitter from just one fight.

Its an old urban legend that is false, no state in America considers the hands or feet of any fighter a lethal weapon.

This myth has its roots in two different aspects of mid-20th century history. In post-World War II Japan traditional martial arts were made illegal, and records were kept of those persons who were experienced practitioners of the arts. This was a bit of anti-Japanese backlash following the war and lasted only a few years. It has not been repeated, and it never spread beyond the borders of Japan.

The other root is planted in the soil of the rich and often outrageous history of professional boxing. In the Joe Lewis era (the boxer, not the karate master), it was a common publicity stunt to have police on hand during a press conference to "register" the boxer as a deadly weapon. Understand, this was just a publicity stunt and carried no more legal weight than receiving the Key to the City actually means you can open any door with it and just walk in.

I really don't see the problem with hitting a woman vs hitting a man, there is way too many white knights.
