Flippa Escrow Scam - Lost 2K and a website.

About paypal and digital products:

The buyer got no refund for telling paypal that they didn't "receive the digital product after the payment has been made"

BUT, the buyer can tell paypal that "they didn't really authorize the payment and the whole transaction is a result of phishing scam or something" and then get a full refund +digital products that you've already sent.

You're so lucky the guy scammed you fall for the keylogging tricks. However both escrow and paypal have thier disadvantages. Hopefully they will take this matter seriously onwards.

Problem is no buyer will purchase a site for several thousands of$$ over paypal, since it really doesn't offer much protection for them.

If your site is made $500+ the first month with adsense, why are you selingl it for $2,000?

it takes damn hard work to create something like that get that bastard

Hello 4 year old thread. I don't think there's much to add to this guys situation...

I am sorry to know about your experience, but if your story is genuine instead of whining about it, make the names of the scammer public so that people would be aware not to deal with that guy. As you must be having proof of domain ownership prior to the incident (which is a requirement for Flippa), you can take this issue with Flippa.
