I have an eCommerce dropshipping website, www.pinupdresses.co.uk currently making 3 sales so far. The site established around 2 weeks ago. I have intention to sell this website to start new project. I have experience selling exactly same website on flippa for $650. Total cost for flippa listing and charges is about $116. I think the charge is quite ridiculous an not worth for my site value. I mean if the site sold for $650 is okay, but the charges is too much. Is there any other platform other than flippa to sell site that would not charge too much?

    Thanks

Now and then I'll sell a site I own but I don't use Flippa.

The way I go about it is I advertise in a few other places.

Local online classifieds are amazing to get sites sold and they are easier to sell as people trust you as you are local. I advertise in about a 100 mile radius and offer to meet the potential buyers face to face. Pretty easy to close them if they meet up with you.

The other way I market is I advertise in niche related forums. If you are selling a site that centers around fishing, join fishing forums and participate and get people to trust you. At some point you offer that you are selling your fishing site and you'll get people biting. Again, you need to build trust so you have to participate in those forums and offer value to the forum in the process.

I'm sure there are other ways that you can market them and perhaps some folks will pop in here and share but those 2 ways always work well for me.

Thanks for your respond. Local online classifieds sound interesting. Could you please share some of them? Or is it local forum?

My solution to you would be to sell it for more than $650, maybe 1k and then pay the fees.

Maybe try to sell on a forum like here or similar forums where they have website selling sections? Flippa & EmpireFlippers are the other two more known places that come to mind.
