Hi. I hope you guys are doing well. I want to run a flight booking campaign on bing ads using non-branded keywords. As soon as I make a campaign on Microsoft ads, the account gets suspended. Any suggestions on how to get around it? Help will be appreciated.

Bing ban you for any campaign at first
you have just to appeal and get back your account

Ensure your ad content complies with Microsoft Ads policies, especially regarding flight booking campaigns. Review your ad copy and landing pages for any potential policy violations before launching.

The system bans almost every new account automaticly, sometimes not even creating an campaign is necessary, it's already enough to try to add a payment method to get suspendend. If the account is brand new i suggest just create a new one, as long as there was no valid policie violation you got a good chance this time it works. If the new account also gets suspended immediately do an appeal(i recommend not using the link in the e-mail takes longer and less likely to be overturned) but directly through support. They will take 7-10 days to review the account and chances are there that your account stays suspended without giving you a speciefic reasion, so a new account would be way faster and is at least worth a try

Account gets adjourned since flight ads are a restricted class on Microsoft Ads. You requirement to be an airline or an official OTA and get pre-approval. Best move: confirm your commercial, apply for travel ad sanction, and contact Microsoft Ads support for restoration.

Quick fixes: Audit landing pages for compliance (clear pricing, no misleading claims), use exact-match keywords only, and appeal via support with proof (e.g., business docs). Warm up slow ($10/day first week) to dodge flags.

Our agency ad accounts are whitelisted for travel, 30% fewer suspensions, 2x longer life.
DM your budget/GEOs—let’s test a non-branded funnel.

This usually happens if Microsoft flags policy, landing page, or billing issues. Check the suspension notice, make sure your site is transparent (clear booking flow, contact info, SSL), and then appeal with proof of business. If all’s in order, support can reinstate you.

Microsoft Ads often restricts flight-related ads because they require specific approval. In most cases, the advertiser must be an airline or a verified travel agency/OTA before running these campaigns. The best approach is to make sure your business details are fully verified, apply for the relevant travel-ad authorization, and reach out to Microsoft Ads support so they can review and reinstate the account if eligible.
