Fiverr sucks!!! I'm done!

Use Freelancing sites to offer your services you will earn a lot more.

Maybe you just have to state what your service "really" does in the TITLE itself. A lot of Fiver sellers has very good title, but if you look at the description, it contradicts to the title. Sample: FB Real Targeted Fans Like etc., then at description states these are fake profiles to boost your page. So which is which?

Cant say as a seller I have had major problems with the support or the buyers.
If you provide clear information to the buyers with is a lot easier after the update they have just done and give exactly or more than they expected to the buyers then as I have experienced people actually send you a bonus.

I had one today.. Lol . Bought my gig and an extras gig. I was all happy. Then i notice he gave me a totally wrong type of link. Then he gets pissed and asks for a refund when i ask him for the correct one nicley.

You can only spend so long working on $5 jobs, you'll know when it's time to move on and from the sounds of it, your time is now!

Good luck :)

The only way you're going to make any real money on Fiverr, without working yourself into the ground, is by ensuring that you only post gigs which can be cut/copy templated. By that, I simply mean you need to think of the time it will take to complete your gig verses how much you think your time is worth and design a gig that can be easily replicated for multiple buyers.

I've made around $700 from Fiverr in the last 3 months. I've managed this by setting up specific gigs that literally require me to 'cut and paste' my finished product in order to send it across. I originally started off full of enthusiasm, like the OP, writing articles and doing BMD blasts for people but, before long, those who wanted 40+ hours of work for $5 started to stream in and ruin the day.

My advice is this: think of something you can offer that people want, ensure that you can deliver that service in, say under 5 minutes - this includes creation and delivery - and finally, be really specific in your descriptions and don't be afraid to be a little abrupt. Some buyers are so thick they need to be told things bluntly. You may worry that saying things like, 'I can't guarantee your [product feature] so please, don't order if this is a problem for you,' may scare off potential customers, however, in my experience it only scares off the pests who were only going to give you headaches anyway. It's Fiverr - be realistic about what you're prepared to offer and leave no grey area for annoying buyers to try and exploit.

On another note - I've always found their support staff to be very prompt, very polite but when it comes to solving user issues, they're border-line helpless - the 'report spam' block button works better than they do.

Fiverr is still a good outlet to find customers but they are for the most part, cheap customers who expect the world for $5.

Concur with LovervsFighter that the fact one has to manually complete gigs is the big conceptual drag about using Fiverr long term. You'll have to come up with a quick completion process, perhaps involving a unique download, or software relatively few people have that can spit out results ae reus the gig product.

What if you happen to have 5-6 programs that generate unique results or lists, that you offer in a combo report for the $5? Then the manual labor contribution is minimized, and you can just upload the docs to the buyer. If the generated files are above 50 meg (as with videos and audios) the results can even be put on a PPD site, earning you additional cash (another BHW thread explained Fiverr actually allows this, so as to keep its server space uncluttered). More automated and quick gig completion, plus less personal labor, equals more bank.

Do Negative SEO those who cheated you. Actually this is time consuming but by this they will learn lesson.

I was also a seller on fiverr. There customer service is the worst and when I complained they banned me and confiscated all the money I had pending. So now I use yooker, giiraf, and gigbucks for all my selling. All three have good customer service and payout quickly. (note giiraf is a site I own)

I would suggest trying out Fygig site Just joined up, it's free, less competition, pay less for commission, and they actually answer your questions.

I don't know for you but for me the support is great, they removed some negative feedback after 15 min.

It's really hard to deal with clients that expect EVERYTHING for an awfully silly cheap price.
Like, once, i had a client who wanted from me to make him a Q&A website, with a custom Wordpress theme for $70. When i said it's to cheap, he said - "but you're already using wordpress, and that's a finished software"...

Regarding fiverr, you should put your whole offer in the title, since buyers don't read the gig description at all.

Been dealing with my fuckin gig image for weeks with theae birches

I am a customer and I appreciate you guys, sorry you all are getting ripped off for good work. Not all buyers are bad i assure you

Who ever said anyting is easy, with anything you have to have patience and understanding.
You cannot expect to sell things and everything goes smoothly all the time, nothing in life is.With fiverr you have to been keen and repeat things more than once in Title,Video,Discription even on the after order page. You cannot just throw something up on fiverr and expect to make money and have no problems at all.

Can you imagine working at a huge company that has to do with sales, people calling in all the time "this does not work i need a refun" you can't go yelling at them or you get fired. Its not nessarily fiverr that sucks maybe sales is just not your thing if yo get fed up so easily.

You need to think of services to provide that takes less than 10 minutes to complete or copy paste gigs so if someone complains you can easily refund them.

Its either you argue with the customer and get negative rating or do a refund

Fiverr support has outright refused to remove negative feedback on my orders multiple times, even after users have harassed me and had their accounts banned multiple times. And if a user rates you down ten days after the gig was marked completed you can't give a refund. They really don't give a s*** about their sellers.

I just love how people expect to get something of any real value for $5?!
Hmmm A Pepsi cost me 69 cents but if it is flat and gross I am getting another one. If a seller is selling something he should be putting out the best quality he can afford to put out. That said, you should temper your expectations, I cannot by a Mercedes for $5 and I understand that. But there are enough sellers that are selling for $5 that you can expect "reasonable" quality.

Just like paypal fiverr backs up the buyer almost every time. There is no way around it mate, they've found the loophole in the system and theres nothing you can do about it.It's a flaw in the WHOLE system not just fiverr, we as sellers get screwed over every time. If you want my advise and you don't have any "cost" on the products you sell then keep at it. Just refund these bastards and be happy with the "decent people". Most payment solutions out there will screw the seller over any day of the week.
I agree some buyers are assholes but MOST buyers are good IF you deliver good quality.

Let me ask you this...if you found a good quality service that benefited you and possibly even made you money would you ask for a refund?

I wouldn't , I would want to go back to that seller again and again.

I buy very few gigs at fiverr anymore but when I did I have had articles, Link Pyramids, Blog network posts, Guest posts that are just as good (and sometimes better) than what I received here for quite a bit less money.

The point is maybe the seller did get screwed, sadly there ARE people out there petty enough to screw you over $5 (really $4) but on the flip side if you offer an amazing service your are less likely to get a large amount of those since your product will have value and people will want to come back, which they cannot do if they are getting refunds from you.
