Fiverr questions regarding late orders

    I stopped offering my service a few months back and I had 3 pending orders which I couldn't deliver. So I asked the buyers to cancel the orders as at that time I was not able to continue. For some reason, they didn't and now I have 3 "very late" status orders and buyers didn't even cancel it. Now I continue with the service so what should I do know?

    1. Contact them and tell them that I can now finish the order. Is it a wise idea to finish a "very late" order?
    2. Contact them and ask them to cancel the order and make a fresh order if they want the service.
    3. Contact Fiverr and ask Fiverr to cancel the "very late" orders as they have been there for 3 months now.

    I would first try and do number one and finish the order! Also try to over deliver and see if they will give you a positive feedback. If that doesn't work just have fiverr cancel them.

    Try to finish the order and provide a valid reason to the buyer. If you still cannot finish the order, contact Fiverr support and they will cancel those orders.

    I've had many *very late* orders. Now I'm completing on time. :cool:

    If they haven't cancelled the order, it's possible they've completely forgotten about the order/fiverr in general. If completing the jobs doesn't require a great deal of effort, might be worth just doing them and submitting them. They'll still get auto-completed in 3 days right?

    The reason why I'm asking this is to know if it will have any bad effect on my reputation. If it doesn't have any bad effect on my reputation then I'll just complete it and get $12. If for some reason it will have a bad effect then Ill just contact the support and ask them to cancel the orders and refund the money.

    The moment you mark it as complete it'll send them an email. You're gambling that they won't see this email - if they do and see that you delivered nothing, they may leave negative feedback. There's a cancel option in fiverr, if they don't respond in a couple of days it'll automatically cancel.

    I would cancel order and refund money. I would then close the gig and open a new
    one. It will give you chance to write a better killer ad for the same gig.

    Okay, I messaged the buyers to cancel the order and they did. A few minutes later, I got an email from Fiverr and it said my level 1 status is gone.

    And I got negative ratings: "cancelled order. seller failed to deliver on time!"

    Any way I can remove this?
