Fiverr just bought me a 40 acre ranch!

Wow, congratulations OP. How long did it take you to get here. I've tried fiverr multiple times but it never worked out for me. I'm guessing that your service is in the designing niche, right?

It took a year to save up the money from the affiliate earnings but I have been promoting their program for about three years I think. No my service is not in that category.

Happy days well done. How long is the cookie for the Fiverr affiliate program please? or is it they sign up there and then or it doesn't count? I'm lining up some payed adds for testing in the UK but it doesn't make it very clear in the affiliate page.

All I could find was you get 6 months if they sign up and don't purchase right away which makes me think it's sign up there and then or no cigar.

So today I put in an offer on a 40 acre plot in northern Arizona. Calling 40 acres a ranch is a stretch but its surprisingly big and is covered in tall trees. One thing I learned while working out rainfall is that its over quarter of a billion square inches. So when people ask me how big my ranch is that's what I'm going to tell them :)

100% paid for with Fiverr affiliate commissions. Assuming they accept the offer, I'm supremely confident they will though. I have been talking at a mile a minute all day I'm so fucking excited! We set a goal to put aside all of our Fiverr affiliate earnings to purchase land. We didn't want to go into debt or borrow any money so we stuck at it and decided we would let it build up until we found the right piece.

I hope this is a quick little motivational boost for some of you building your online businesses. Set goals and stick to them no matter what opportunities present themselves on the way there. I really hope it gets accepted and if it does I'll post some picture as soon as I can.
Congrats bro, didnt even know fiver has an affiliate program. Any tips / secrets you're willing to share on how to promote it? other than the obvious "create a tutorial and suggest fiverr services " as a part of it?

I'm not sure about the cookies. I only notice the commission go up once a sale has been made. If they just sign up you dont get anything. You only get commission if they purchase a service and the service they purchase dictate the amount of commission paid.

The biggest tip is go where small business owners are. They are always looking for things they can do on a budget to grow their business.

lol and a bunch of others it seems :) https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/fiverr-just-bought-me-a-40-acre-ranch.1040897/page-6#post-11404583

I guess the only way to properly do it will be to stand in the middle of the property with my laptop open on BHW and one of my shoes on my head. I've heard that this is only true way to do it on BHW. :)

Thats actually a great tip.. gave me some cool ideas, thanks :)

I'm glad it helped :) the golden rule is people are looking for value so dont bother showing them any expensive AF gigs, just show them the best value and you will be set

@Stewielenor here you go, here are a few for now that were taken back in Feb, it also looks like you just forced me to work out how to add images too so thank you :)

There is still a little snow on the ground in places. I'll upload better ones when I have taken them off the camera. I would have tried to get some of the dashcam footage up but each video is a GB. Its going to be a ton of work to get the property how we want it but that's part of the fun. I need to set up some aquaculture spots to build up the soil. I suspect I will just plant a lot of beans and peas to cover it and rebuild the soil for a season.
