Fiverr - Is this normal? Potential scam?

This can be a potential scams. Scammers are not just the sellers but also the buyers. Thanks to the support who can help you get your money back with no much issues. And this is why fiverr holds the seller's money for 15 days...

get your money back, move along that is it dont need to get worried about it.

20% sellers are scammer on any freelancing sites, so take care of them. Get money back and find good sellers.

The service is Youtube comments/likes. He's a level 2 seller - and has changed the delivery time for the gig (So guess he's getting hammered with orders).

I'm pretty sure there is nothing dishonest about it - but can see how some sellers could try and scam others in this way. I'll give him the 24 hours and see what happens.

Same thing happened to me as well. Although I sell backlinks. I get 6-10 orders a day. But suddenly I got 30 today. Totally fucked and messaging all the current queued orders that I will be late. I got decent feedback and people trust me., so mostly it isn't much of a problem. But I have no idea what the hell is wrong with fiverr these days.

100% reject it. I've sold thousands and thousands of Fiverr gigs, there is absolutely no reason to mark a page as completed without actually delivering the product.

Rejecting the order doesn't mean the order is cancelled, it just means he has to redeliver it (which is what he should be doing anyways).

If the seller has good feed back give him 24 to 48hrs,
if nothing you can cancel just ensure you don't leave
a review yet because that will close the chances
of getting your funds back.

Truth is, sometimes it happens, it happened to my instagram gig just few days
back. I had it set for 4 days and delivered empty gig after 5 days due to technical issues
and sent them a mail promising to fix in 24hrs or give them a refund.

I still couldn't fix in 24hrs and all my client cancelled.

However, after it was done, i still delivered the service without any cost.

I'm a fiverr seller, I would suggest just rejecting the gig if he's a level 2 or higher seller. I've had to extend gig time a few times in order to keep my ratings good. However, I would provide a much better explanation to my customers if I was the seller.

definately a scam ... report to fiverr before it's "delivered"
